Reviews for Infocar - OBD2 ELM Scanner

Very good! Works fluently. Can I export analytical trip data? There is the excel output but I would like more, like gps current consumption and more. Clearly the data is there and they are drawned on the map and on the graphs. Also could you add the ability to add custom entries in consumables management and the ability to export it something like a maintenance log of the car?

Great app! I have tested other OBD2 best rated applications but this I like the most. I really appreciate Driving records and Driving style reports. Great is that you can display measures what you want to see in chart for selected ride. Please add KPI specification (APS, TPS etc.) and long term stats in Driving records (not only distance and fuel consumption ideally). Keep up the good work!

Had it for about a week, by far best app on the market for monitoring while driving. My car doesn't have anything but a fuel Guage and a speedo. This app allows me to see extremely accurate fuel consumption(compared to me tracking it manually) in real time. It helps me correct bad driving habits that saves me fuel. Bravo to the development team!!!

Not sure why everyone complains so much for a free app. Found this to be the best Free Odb2 scanner app out there. A few item could use work, like the fact sometimes settings disappear, but find it great for tracking driving habits and stats, as well as it provides all the information I need. Great work on the app. Keep the features coming.

The new update only shows a banner ad at the top while going into the 'Dashboard' and nothing else. Previous version was good.... But now useless

I absolutely love this app. Very amazing interface. Very great stats and will give you data you can make sense of. You have to experiment and check through features. Feature request: while we add a log in maintenance log section, can you put in a feature to add the fuel price at that day? Cause in places like ,India, the fuel prices increase / decrease daily. It will help with a great deal as I don't have to update fuel costs separately.

This app is great, I bought a Veepeak OBD2 bluetooth scanner. Some apps couldn't connect at all (torque, dash commander and others), Infocar connected quickly, reliably and easily. The information on the dashboard is great, and it reads the error codes well too. I was looking to buy this to support the developer but it seems to be entirely free. I don't even see ads anywhere.

Subscription instead of a one-time purchase => replaced with a functionally superior alternative that can be bought instead of rented and consequently uninstalled. For most users that are not working as mechanics, this kind of software is more or less a preparation in case an emergency happens, meaning the app might get used once or twice. A subscription scheme to milk customers ad infinitum is not a suitable method of monetization for most programs, except for antivirus and firewall.

It gives me more than what I expected. Excellent app. Everything was free for a year or so, now for detailed diagnosis and clearance of faults you pay just few bucks. I'd say that's worth every penny. Also, I like that there are no disruptive and annoying ads. I use it on Chevy Cruze and Merc GLA. App's exceptional!

one of the best app I have ever used. it has graph as well direct reading option. really helpfull thanks. worked on my Corolla 2016.

purchased lifetime access by paying money and it's asking to purchase again and showing ads every 5sec no history showing for purchase after this the team connected me and gave the solution and it's working fine without ads. thank you

App And OBD II Adapter gets disconnected after every 6 minutes. App looses its connectivity.

Still loving it and using it almost daily. Could you look into the "Driving Record" view? When you expand the time interval to "3 months" or longer, the app freezes a little bit while it's loading the aggregated data (probably). Maybe this could be done asynchronously or something. It would also be cool if you could export the data by year in addition to monthly.

Ridiculous # of ads. App is straight up unusable.. you can't even look at the different options because there's one every 3 seconds. Why would I buy pro if I cant even tell what the app does because there's always an ad.

Atleast there should be an option to connect other adapters and check before buying. There can be a timer like, you can only connect for may be few minutes a day. It's unbelievable to ask for payment before even confirming usability

the app works as expected. but really has lot of ads. apart from this i noticed one issue. the speed recorded is frozen after a while after a ride is started. it stays to the same kmph until the ride ends, though all the other information like rpm, coolant temp is recorded correctly. Also, when setting the Autonomous Driving Detection Conditions to Bluetooth. I can see the app recording the driving data sometimes, but not everytime, unless I open the app. please handle this.

please add protocol SAE J1979 and ISO 15031-5 , this app has great UI but there is no support for this protocol :(

excellent, connected easily, free! still trying to make it work in android auto though

as mechanic this is by far the best mobile scanning app i ever used.... simple easy and quick..... i dont mind watching the ads because after watching it i can continue using whatever function i want in the app

It delivers what I need for a quick App to easily connect and help with simple fault finding/readings with my generic OBD2 reader for my car, worth the download👍
