great app! I love the cashback and random coupons. I do wish it was offered at more restaurants especially bc i live in a big city (cant imagine how much more limited for smaller areas) but overall a useful tool and so far no glitches
Reviews for inKind
this inkind app actually works the way they say it does. They load your account with 20% of what you pay at an inkind member restaurant, and you can use that account to pay for your meal at the next inkind member restaurant you patronize. I tried it, and it worked for me. It's also quicker to pay your tab using the inkind app, and you don't need to give your credit card to the server, and then wait for them to bring your credit card back to you
Pretty nifty. I do not like how if you earn rewards, you cannot use it with a coupon which is why I ordered it for delivery. Rewards are earned, I paid for it. You shouldn't be penalized that way. Had I known, I would have not used my rewards and used the coupon because my rewards would have been added into one option, now I'm stuck back with the same problem of have 2 separate rewards type.
It is also unreliable. I have used it twice. First time I paid with no problem. Second time I was not only unable to pay because it wouldn't recognize my check (the waitress claimed the restaraunt was temporily diaconnected) but on top of that I didn't receive credit for a coupon I had and was told I had to pay full price. They took my info at Brio and claimed they would give me a replacement coupon in the app but that never came. Update failed again. Can't find bill. BRIO GET RID OF THIS APP.
Downloaded for a $25 off 75 deal and I was able to get that deal to work which was great. But other than the front page's recommendations (which fortunately displayed my deal), none of the on-screen buttons work. I honestly don't think I could use the app again if I wanted to unless they fix it or unless I get another similar deal at the place I'm trying to go to...
Incredibe value, maybe too good to be true so I am curious if the company is making money. Apart from that, the app's core works fine, I haven't had a problem with paying. Edit: I had a comment on how bad the map was, took them 4 months but they have finally optimized the map, added more filters, etc. Great service!
Slow and poorly designed app. If I select a specific restaurant in the app to order from, for some reason it'll give me a whole list of the restaurant's chain locations. Like come on, I don't know the address so I have to pull up Google maps to find it so I can order. Why give me the list of chains if I chose a specific location? I've accidentally lost money ordering from the wrong location.
InKind is an incredible app! It is free to sign up, and they're generous with their gift card amounts usable at any of the restaurants represented in their app. Also, the percentages they offer on money back with amounts spent at restaurants is bar none. It is definitely worth the download and to use if you want to save money at many mid to high-end restaurants
I tried to order from a restaurant with a bill well over 90$. it kept telling me there was an error no matter what I did. then. I got 5 messages all at once that my cards were charged, which would have resulted in way too much food and over 350 dollars in charges. I called the restaurant, they told me that everyone who has tried to use this app has had the same issues and that none of my orders when through. I'm deleting this app now. what an unnecessary headach and heart attack.
This app is terrible. Every single time I use it, whether it's been a day or a month, it requires an update before even opening it. it's also incredibly slow and the whole process of paying takes significantly longer, usually involving the app crashing at least once. If I could avoid it I would - unfortunately I have money tied up in it and it won't allow me to access my account on the website
