great app! I love the cashback and random coupons. I do wish it was offered at more restaurants especially bc i live in a big city (cant imagine how much more limited for smaller areas) but overall a useful tool and so far no glitches

this inkind app actually works the way they say it does. They load your account with 20% of what you pay at an inkind member restaurant, and you can use that account to pay for your meal at the next inkind member restaurant you patronize. I tried it, and it worked for me. It's also quicker to pay your tab using the inkind app, and you don't need to give your credit card to the server, and then wait for them to bring your credit card back to you

Pretty nifty. I do not like how if you earn rewards, you cannot use it with a coupon which is why I ordered it for delivery. Rewards are earned, I paid for it. You shouldn't be penalized that way. Had I known, I would have not used my rewards and used the coupon because my rewards would have been added into one option, now I'm stuck back with the same problem of have 2 separate rewards type.

It is also unreliable. I have used it twice. First time I paid with no problem. Second time I was not only unable to pay because it wouldn't recognize my check (the waitress claimed the restaraunt was temporily diaconnected) but on top of that I didn't receive credit for a coupon I had and was told I had to pay full price. They took my info at Brio and claimed they would give me a replacement coupon in the app but that never came. Update failed again. Can't find bill. BRIO GET RID OF THIS APP.

Downloaded for a $25 off 75 deal and I was able to get that deal to work which was great. But other than the front page's recommendations (which fortunately displayed my deal), none of the on-screen buttons work. I honestly don't think I could use the app again if I wanted to unless they fix it or unless I get another similar deal at the place I'm trying to go to...

Incredibe value, maybe too good to be true so I am curious if the company is making money. Apart from that, the app's core works fine, I haven't had a problem with paying. Edit: I had a comment on how bad the map was, took them 4 months but they have finally optimized the map, added more filters, etc. Great service!

Slow and poorly designed app. If I select a specific restaurant in the app to order from, for some reason it'll give me a whole list of the restaurant's chain locations. Like come on, I don't know the address so I have to pull up Google maps to find it so I can order. Why give me the list of chains if I chose a specific location? I've accidentally lost money ordering from the wrong location.

InKind is an incredible app! It is free to sign up, and they're generous with their gift card amounts usable at any of the restaurants represented in their app. Also, the percentages they offer on money back with amounts spent at restaurants is bar none. It is definitely worth the download and to use if you want to save money at many mid to high-end restaurants

I tried to order from a restaurant with a bill well over 90$. it kept telling me there was an error no matter what I did. then. I got 5 messages all at once that my cards were charged, which would have resulted in way too much food and over 350 dollars in charges. I called the restaurant, they told me that everyone who has tried to use this app has had the same issues and that none of my orders when through. I'm deleting this app now. what an unnecessary headach and heart attack.

This app is terrible. Every single time I use it, whether it's been a day or a month, it requires an update before even opening it. it's also incredibly slow and the whole process of paying takes significantly longer, usually involving the app crashing at least once. If I could avoid it I would - unfortunately I have money tied up in it and it won't allow me to access my account on the website

So here's what happened, I had a $25 for $50 offer that expired today and I used it at this restaurant, The Honey Hole. I paid through the app and it applied everything. However, some kind of way I pushed the back button and none of my offers were applied and therefore I was charged regular price plus tips and taxes. The app won't even let me re-enter my check number. It kept saying check number could not be found. If one mistake causes you to lose your offer, I don't think this is a good app.

I recieved a $50 credit from Parson's Chicken to use on this app. I asked the in kind customer service if I could use the app for carryout orders. I just had to call the restaurant to place the order, and once I got there, I opened up the in kind app, paid for the food, and I chose to give a cash tip. The only small complaint I have with the app is that there are only 5 or 6 restaurants in entire Chicago land area available on the app. I assume that after time this number will grow.

- one star. Classic bait & Switch. Added an extra drink to get over the threshold just for the app to tell me "This deal is no longer active" after the fact! I didn't even know about this app until I looked up this restaurant. The manager offered to discount my bill. But it's not their fault. InKind is ripping off restaurants that are having a hard enough time getting by. Do Not Use this app!

FAILED to work when at the store to pick up my order. Entering the number at the checkout worked just fine, but I was unable to use my balance to pay for the check. I could only use it to pay for the tip. The app kept prompting for payment through Google Pay which was pointless since I had plenty of funds in the app. I ended up having to pay out-of-pocket for the order and tip. USELESS APP!! Be careful when using this app and be prepared to cover the meal out-of-pocket.

Absolutely horrible experience. So few local places, but the worst is when I'm in one and the app doesn't work because it "can't connect." So I can't charge my order or use my coupon. I don't know who is to blame, but I'm on the restaurant's WiFi with "full" strengthl but the app can't find my bill no matter what I do. Uninstalling. Disaster of an experience.

This app is amazing with the deals you get, IF it works. I've only been able to use it 2 out of 4 times. First of all the app takes forever to load. When it finally loads, I have a hard time getting to the point for paying. I keep getting a network message. I would connect to a Wi-Fi network which has a strong signal and all of my other apps work. I have access to the Internet but this app gets stuck on that error screen. It never reloads and none of the buttons on the app works. Sucks.

This app is running a classic bait-and-switch scam and you can never trust their offers or discounted gift cards. I recently went to a restaurant that was on the InKind app but the app could not find the check number. When I asked the server, they said they are no longer accepting InKind due to management changes. I had to pay the full bill with a credit card and now need to find a different restaurant to spend this balance. 4 days later, the restaurant is still listed on the app.

Terrible! I installed the app as it was recommended by a new restaurant I visited in my area. The app offered a discount for first time users, $25 off the first order. It was impossible to get the discount. Not only it lagged (e.g. 15-20" to respond for each step - pay bill, select restaurant brand, select restaurant location, etc.) but also returned to the main page after selecting "Pay". I ended up paying with my cc after I showed the server what I was experiencing. It's a scam.

Worked great the first few times we used it. The. I loaded a few hundred $ from a Costco gift card sale and now I can't use it. The app takes forever to load just when I'm trying to pay. Second time in a couple of weeks. I've updated it to the latest version, restarted my phone multiple times and still just gets stuck on the loading screen for 20 min plus when I'm trying to pay at a participating restaurant (two different business too...). So frustrating. I have hundreds of $ stuck in the app.

I wish this app worked. I downloaded it a few years ago, it work OK the first few times then the lag was so bad I would end up paying another way. Eventually I just deleted the app. It's been a year or so since the last time I tried to use it, I thought maybe there had been some improvements... No such luck. Even worse than before. I've downloaded the app twice attempting just to log in.
