I thoroughly enjoy my Instant Pot pressure cooker. I've made so many recipes and they've all turned out superb. The most rewarding recipes were the hard cooked eggs and cheesecake. Wow! Wow! Wow! The egg shells practically fall off the eggs. The cheesecake was perfect and tasted screamingly delicious! I'm amazed and thrilled at the ease of preparing meals and the time savings values! This has been a rewarding purchase. I think I might buy another one so I can have two and cook more meals.

Great recipes & step-by-step step directions for them, but if you're only cooking individual items, the timetable chart should be easily found on the app or website. For example, searching for timetables gets you no results, in the app or website, but website menu has a option for timetables. Definitely geared more toward cooking multi ingredient recipes than single items you just want to quickly prepare.
The app is pretty lame, honestly. It asks which device you have in the IP family, but won't filter recipes based on that device. When you click to view a receipe, the steps are vague and it takes you back to the beginning of the receipe list (instead of, say 3/4 down the list, or where ever you left off before that specific receipe). Several of the recipes say "Ace blender" as one of the items needed, but the directions never call for it. Overall, the app is severely lacking in content!
Why wouldn't they have options for all of their appliances? You can pick the ones you own, unless it's a instant pot duo with the air fryer lid. Do I assume the cooking times are the same as their other air fryer? Does it matter that this one has different function buttons than the regular instant pot? FFS. Also, you can't easily see ingredients and the instructions on the recipes, it wants to walk you through step by step. It makes you pick a recipe based on cooking time, calories, challenge...
Loved the original app. Hate the new version. After the pressure cook time expires it no longer automatically goes into keep warm mode. This also eliminates the count up timer that made it easy to do a quick pressure release after a certain amount of time. Also, no longer able to go from natural pressure release to quick through the app. Now, I must manually change the release method and hope that I allowed enough time for the natural release if I did not hear the beep when cooking time ended.
There's so much you could do with this app. It has a lot of unfulfilled potential. It would be great if the app displayed more comprehensive info during cooking; status bar, pressure, temp, keep warm settings, pressure release settings etc. Would like to be able to change settings from the app during cooking. I would LOVE to be able to save presets. It would be nice to be able to rename your devices. How about save recipe categories, change ingredient amounts, create your own recipes.
I downloaded this app to connect to my instant pot pro plus. The remote control functionality is very barebones and could use a lot more features to make it useful. You can start cooking through the app with all the settings, but once it starts, it only shows the time remaining. No way to see the lid lock / pressure status, the current stage (preheat, cook, keep warm), no access to see the pressure, temperature, venting, or keep warm, or nutriboost settings, let alone adjust any. Only stop cook.
The app just updated, and it's a complete downgrade. Features removed... I don't get it. Why make the app worse? Recipes you saved before could be categorized into collections. Now it's all just "Saved Recipes". My collections of stuff that I've made are lumped together with my "Recipes to try" collection. What a waste of time to have to sift through every recipe to find what I want instead of going straight to the collection I want. Very disappointed. Ability to rate and review recipes removed.
I was considering purchasing an "Instant Pot Duo Crisp 11-1 Electric Pressure Cooker with Air Fryer Lid", but wanted to get a better sense of it, by checking out some of these recipes. I didn't see the aforementioned appliance, listed as an option and I couldn't look at any of the recipes, without creating an account first 🤷♂️ Ridiculous 💩 Guess I'll just consider getting a different brand, instead.
I've had this app for over a year now and i had no complaints, with my instapot which works great. But all of a sudden, they deny me access to the app. I'll start searching other sources for recipes and times. I have mouths to feed and don't need my time wasted trying to gain access. Maybe buy another brand of instant pot cookers so you don't have to struggle with something as simple as the app.
