I dont like this app I had to for maybe a year, I finally decided to do a shift and now its tell me I didnt complete the interview when I did. They dont have a real number to call its only AI and when you ask for a number to call it send you the jobs number and not instawork I really wanted it to be a good app but I've been dealing with them all morning and still haven't be able to get ahold of anyone actually running the app.

The app has too many issues. Plain and simple. Shift access and where they'll push for you to take shifts isn't completely determined by what they tell you. If the app malfunctions for whatever reason and causes you to have to cancel in order to avoid a no-show, you will be penalized no matter what they claim. Your reliability will be low for 6 months. And coaching calls (which pop up random for most) normally result in you not getting anymore local shifts. Wish I could give this zero stars

The AI extracted my name incorrectly from my driver's license, none of the AI systems are capable of changing it for their automatically generated tax documents, and when told things would be escalated to a specialist absolutely nothing happened. there are zero humans to interact with, and I can't get a shift without an I-9 (with the right name). So...that was a waste of time.

this app is EXTREMELY HARD to navigate. It doesn't allow you to set your distance preferences. The jobs that ARE in your area you can't see unless you go through a million loop holes to get there. If your schedule is different day to day and have to go in-between apps to confirm availability it closes out and you'd have to take those steps all over again. And yes, you're always waitlisted even seconds after getting the notification and applying. The whole song and dance for nothing in the end.

Not a good app, the app will constantly bombard you with notifications about work opportunities literally >50miles away constantly. They don't tell you that the wages they give you are skimmed off the top. the work I did was 19 an hour when you find the same exact position paying 25 an hour on another site (Not an exaggeration I spoke to my coworkers who went through Craigslist), to top it all off they charge a 3% fee for a direct deposit to your account.

Downloaded the app easy enough. Went thru all of the necessary prerequisites for employment. They sent a message about completing an extra step, 3 different times. 3 different times I clicked the link, which sent me back to the same page. When I reached out for support, it was a prerecorded bot that continuously suggested I go thru SUPPORT. Wouldn't suggest this to my worst enemy.

so starting out it was nice to get shifts when I wanted to work. Well after this last one I am extremely disappointed. They have no support when you have an issue. I signed up for a shift and none of the phone numbers worked. I tried reaching out for a week and a half, and got nothing. when I finally got someone they were incompetent gave me the wrong info, yet I still got punished for their lack of assistance and stupidity. i was supposed to get training but the link didn't work, but I got hit.

There is no customer service or support. I have had to go around and around to try to correct the information that the app has gotten wrong. I have restarted the app, deleted and reinstalled, talked to the damned chatbot 20 times on the same issue and it keeps sending me the same ineffective steps. A month later and I still can't get the paperwork verified and can't get jobs. THIS IS NOT A REAL COMPANY! THERE ARE NO EMPLOYEES! THE AI FROM AMAZON IS IN CONTROL.

this app has a lot of glitching and technical issues and 0 options of how to report it to get them fixed I replied for things over and over. nothing as soon as you get almost done with all the stuff that you're supposed to do if it even works for you to ckick on if that part even works when you get almost through with the screening and all this stuff right at the end drop calls you or glitches. u have to start all over. ive had this app a year. not 1 gig.

I downloaded this app over a month ago, once I tried to actually pick up a shift, it said I had to verify a few things. one of those thing included my email address. it was kinda annoying me because as soon I downloaded the app I attempted to update my email but the app didn't update it for some reason. then I spoke to customer service and they sent me a link to update my email, I clicked it and updated my email but ever since then the app doesn't work anymore. just a plain white screen.

I was really excited about this app. I have been accepted for the second time for a shift this Friday. the app requires a phone screening for some shifts. Every time I call the number provided, it gives me an error message and hangs up. The app then proceeds to send me notifications and text messages threatening me of deactivation from the shift if I don't complete this phone call. I have escalated the situation to support four times now. Nothing. I lost the shift 2 times and not a word.

easy to get started, the offered pay is good, based on the gig. though I'm not finding a lot of company's/gigs looking for help....in my area. a lot of the open shift displayed for me are from surrounding areas. it could just be because I'm new, and have to work my way up to that next level to get more offers. order simply really isn't anybody looking for help around here, don't think that's the case

I have worked 5 gigs I did not get paid for 3. There is no live support nor a customer service phone number you can call. It says to start a chat bot for Help but there is no Help. BE AWARE OF SCAMMERS ON THIS APP! They give you a shift and then they cancel it right after you have worked so it then disappears in the app. There is no way you can dispute .

I'm editing my review to reflect the fact that I was marked as a no-show when I canceled the shift ahead of time and try to reaching out to the plan of contact and in the app it has their phone numbers as over 20 characters long and I even tried googling the correct phone numbers I couldn't find anything and I still cannot get a hold of any type of support. When I tried to appeal the suspension they put on me, the app wouldn't allow me to upload any proof I had to delete the proof to to submit.

I really wanted to like this app, especially as someone who prefers gig work, BUT, support is almost non existent. I have done the same screening call multiple times to be approved for more shifts, and although it said it would be reviewed in a couple days, it has been almost 2 weeks. I reached out to support via the app, and still no response even days later. Very unprofessional to have a work app with so many restrictions and rules but yet they follow none of them when it comes to being prompt

in the beginning getting started can be a little challenging and be careful because travel is all on the user so that can limit which gigs are feasible for the user. over all I really love this app I don't intend to just be a gig worker and the fact my profile is so thorough and complete makes it easy to just use it when applying for a more permanent job in the future . I recommend every one try it especially if you don't know what you really want to do with you career.

I get plenty of gigs here. most are well below my average hourly rate, but the flexibility makes it worth it. the worst part so far has been the customer service. I haven't gotten a reply in 2 months despite my somewhat frequent check-ins. most reslcenetly a store gave me the wrong clock out code, when I ask about it she gets fidgety and I still haven't been paid. I'm supposed to go back today, and if 8 don't go and work (possibly for free) they have the power to end my profile.

This app is extremely thorough when it comes to building your profile and applying for positions. The screening process is very intricate when deciding what skilled positions you are qualified to do. In the beginning,it seems like a LOT to do, but the hard work you put in is definitely worth it once you begin booking shifts! Instawork is AMAZING!! The only downside is if we have a problem, theres no one we can call for an immediate response. 24/7 customer service would be beneficial for us all!

It's not a bad gig app but they don't act like a gig app. It's very strict and picky for gigs like concessions and cashiering and that deters me because I have a FT job and that's easier than this. Plus you need constant background checks, verifications, references all for low end temporary jobs that are easy to get elsewhere but permanently. Too many hoops to jump through for low pay. Just because the hourly looks good doesn't mean it'll add up good. I just don't see the worth.

This app was great a couple years ago. but nowadays the app almost expects you to have a vehicle for 2 to 4 hour drives to make it to the shifts in another state several miles away from your location. if you do not have a vehicle the gigs are basically impossible to get as the shifts offered are unbelievably low and on average 100 miles away from your home. Might get lucky and find something close, but unless you are gold or platinum its nearly impossible to find anything reasonable.
