This app was working well at first. Got way too many email offers. Unsubscribed to them. All was fine. Then one day, it boots me out. Cant log back in. Cant get a hold of anyone. Wont let me recover my account or password. But wont let me create a new one with this email either. There is no customer service phone number, no one to talk to. It directs you to a page that doesnt offer a solution.

I wasn't able to create an account. Says to contact customer support, but there seems to be no way to do that without an account. Developer advised me to continue as guest to contact them. In the app there is only Log In and Sign Up. When I log in I get stuck in a can't verify phone number loop. There is no option to continue as guest. App just says to contact customer support but offers no link or info as to how. I guess I don't need Credit Karma.

A great way to monitor your score & credit report. It's not totally current, but you can still get an idea of what your credit score is, so it has been helpful to me in that way because I have been working on repairing my credit. I would like it if you could have the option to check or post if you have a particular credit card. Bc according to my profile, the chances of me getting certain credit cards are POOR, but I actually already have them. It's slow posting your current credit profile.

My credit score on credit karma is always different than my credit score on other apps. When you apply for a loan, see your real credit score, then compare to the CK app, it proves to you that CKs info isn't very accurate. 40-50 point difference between what CK says and the banks documents. It's helpful with tips that did give me a better understanding of how the credit system works. They just can't provide you with your current credit score, not accurately.

This app helped me start off my credit, and has been helpful in many ways. however, they do not vet which credit cards they recommend. If it ever offers you an opensky credit card of any kind, do not apply for it! I never received the card, but received mail saying there was a monthly $2 fee for it, even though it wasn't activated. Opensky has no customer service options other than to mail something, and Credit Karma can't get in contact with them, either. It's been very frustrating.

it's not the app, it's the customer support. I've never dealt with a company that had a customer support group that for 1, is entirely too difficult to connect with. for 2, they are not properly trained and it shows. You hold my money, so I expect you to be knowledgeable and professional. Credit Karma is NOT. terminating my accounts ASAP

I have used Credit Karma years, but i have been having some problems lately. When trying to log on ,it wants to text me a verification code, which i do not receive. Nor can I get the code by phone call. I have even tried getting the code by email, which I can get. But it flips back to getting it by text. I have contacted them several times, and all the suggestions are the same, and they do not work. I'm starting to think the reply is A.I. generated.

This is a good app if you want to get another credit card .If you need a personal loan it used to be really good .Got 3 loans at BestEgg through this app.Paid them all off way ahead of time. One was 6K and one was 3K and one was $1500 interest rates were fairly good and I got the same unsecured loan they advertised on the app. With One Main Financial the ads they run look really good but they want you to borrow more than you requested and the interest rate was over 200 percent last time .

It's no longer helpful with your credit. You cant dispute anything, you can only look at your credit. There isn't anything helpful using the app anymore and it's annoying just to look at something you can't do anything about unless you go to the credit bureaus website itself. At that point might as well use there apps. I highly not recommend using Credit Karma anymore. I see it more as a risk then it being helpful.

It's a good app to use to get a General idea of what your credit and score look like but it's not 100% accurate, here's another thing that really bothers me, I keep getting notifications that my score has changed or something else, and when I go and check it's the same score same info...NOTHING HAS CHANGED!!! FIX THESE FALSE NOTIFICATIONS IT'S GETTING ANNOYING. CK seems to be unable to answer my question or address my issue.

Don't take refinance offers from this app. They're lies. They advertise low rates with one lender but when you send your credit application they send it to countless lenders. Then they offer you a bad deal with over double CKs advertised rate. But you guys made your money didn't you, considering every hour I'm getting a notification about a new lender viewing my credit report. Waste of time and a drop to credit.

I've had credit karma for many years but recently, I have utilized the features and offers more frequently within the app. Its the best free app out there to get your credit back on track. There is info and offers regarding all things credit. They highlight your bad marks and tell you why its bad. Then provide info, offers and steps on how to correct it. So no matter where you stand on your credit score/ situation, Credit Karma is the first wise step forward to bettering your credit!

Great for checking credit, but all the credit cards and loans are horrible. either their pages are so full of popups and spam you with adds, or links don't work. Trying to get to any specific area is like traveling through a mine field, blindfolded, on a pogo stick. Click the wrong window or spot and get ready to be carpet bombed with texts and emails. Tried to put in for one of the guaranteed cards, credit took a hit, but then their app would never open my camera to verify ID.

Always wrong! The score shown is always 50 to 100 points lower than what the bank will give you. Get ready for useless daily updates with no actual changes in your credit, but more of a sales pitch for new cards, loans, and any other refinancing scam they can send your way. It has become a useless app.

The app is good for showing you how to improve your credit, showing your accounts all in one place and keeping track of on-time payments. However, it does not show your FICO score, meaning it is not the score that creditors will see when applying for a loan, card, etc. It sets people up for disappointment when they go for a loan thinking their score is much higher than it is.

The app is overall reliable. But a few things about it genuinely but me. First, I get notifications on a daily basis telling me to look at my updated credit score and it's been the same for weeks. Then they'll send notifications about "wow, your score jumped by 23! see how!" and it hasn't moved. Then there's the bait they'll do with tax refund "estimates" that are nowhere grounded in reality. aside from the annoying notifications, great app. Used to be 3*, dialing it back to 1* for notifs.

I filed 2 separate tickets about different issues. They initially replied promptly. I replied back with the info they needed, including screenshots. Then they sent me surveys for both tickets as if the matters are resolved, but neither are, the problems still persist. One was about a paid off debt that only caused score to go up 1 point instead of the promised 23-25 points. The other was about their loans feature, where none of the links work. All the links just refresh the page over and over.

This app doesn't have anything that's accurate for anything usable. About the only thing It can do is give you a heads up when your score is about to change preemptively. If you're trying for a big purchase like a house or car maybe just getting a credit card, the numbers they pull here will not match. They pull different numbers than a car dealership or bank would. Thats why its inaccurate. do not trust this app to give you an accurate score it's always 20-30 points higher here than an inquiry

The advertisements for this application are intrusive. Every time you click the x to close the add it launches the application from the advisement. Terrible business practice! I just don't understand the logic behind these advertisements. If I click close the advertisement, then that is what I want to do. Why would it launch the app, how does that make me want to download your program? It has quite the opposite effect! I will be uninstalling this application due to the intrusive advertisements.

Credit Karma has a lot of good aspects, but stopped updating my credit scores back in September. I get a message every time I open the app that says my score can't be updated and I'm seeing old information. If you can't even get your updated score it's not very useful. Especially because all the offers they give you are based off the numbers shown on their app. Edit: the app has not updated for TransUnion since September, it is mid January. That is not a month behind. It is failing.
