So here's my honest take on Invendo: Inventory & Shopping. I've tested a bunch of home organization apps and this one's pretty good. The barcode scanning and expiry reminders are super useful, and I like that you can share the inventory with family members. The UI could be a bit more polished, but it's not a dealbreaker. Overall, it's a solid option if you want to get your pantry, medicine cabinet, and household supplies under control.

Pros

  • Tons of useful features like barcode scanning, expiry reminders, and shopping lists
  • Easy to build a visual catalog with photos of products
  • Family sharing so everyone can stay on top of the inventory
  • Doesn't cost anything to use the basic features

Cons

  • The interface is a little clunky and not the most intuitive
  • Can get tedious adding every single item manually
  • Occasional bugs and crashes, though the dev seems to update it regularly

Description

Been using Invendo: Inventory & Shopping for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that helps you keep track of everything in your home – pantry items, medicines, household products, that kind of stuff. Pretty solid if you’re into organizing your place and making sure you don’t let things expire.

Here’s what you do: you can scan barcodes to add products, take photos to build a visual catalog, and set expiry reminders so you never forget when stuff is going bad. There’s also shopping lists you can make by store or category – super handy for grocery runs. And you can share the inventory with your family so everyone’s on the same page.

Look, if you’re into home organization apps, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the UI can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want to get your place sorted out.

I like the app but when trying to share it pops up a box to add text but you can't type in it anywhere and it won't send to recipient....

Helps me know exactly what I have, when it expires and what I need. Love that you can scan just about anything.
