A wonderful concept I can only wish that you were able to send the invites internationally rather than just inside the US.
Reviews for Invitation Maker & Card Design
← Back to Invitation Maker & Card Designreally great app but I wish you were allowed to start from scratch. it would really give you more freedom if your theme is a bit more outlandish. I also wish that you start with more coins because I have to send like, 20 invites and I can't do that without spending money. would be a five except for these two problems. good, could be improved. sorry :) 😬
Better than Evite. Couldn't even make a horizontal invite card on Evite. More selections of cards with Paperless Post.
I received a Paperless Post thank you card last year, and I went searching for it so I could send nice, thank you, cards out to the people who participated and came to my birthday party. I like being able to personalize each one.
my app stopped working the only thing I can see when I try to open is the pigeon with the mail nothing happens it's been like this for a long period of time. I need to see my invitation and who is coming.
I really like this app. I can see who accepted or denied the invitation. I can send messages to separate people or as a group (love this feature), but unfortunately it keeps crashing!
Overall a good App /program, but there are some sloppy hiccups throughout. For example, on the contacts page (desktop web version), the names column is too narrow and cuts off more than half the name. I brought this to their attention 5 years ago for a previous event in 2018, but they obviously couldn't be bothered to fix it. Also in Contacts, it allows you to create as many different address books (lists) as you want, but you can't actually use them to send any invites, so what's the point?
Love Paperless Post! Makes party planning & communication seamless. I also love all of the customization features.
Insane prices for virtual invitation and tracking. traps you with a million questions before telling you it's going to cost $100. do better.
Unfortunately, it's functionally unusable. The app has buttons on the top and bottom of the screen, BEHIND the OS buttons. Ironically I can't submit a support item letting them know, because the "Send" and "Attach" buttons are behind my phone's battery percentage (and unclickable). When trying to manage events, the primary actions are along the bottom of the screen, behind my Back/Home buttons. Pixel 9 Pro, Android 15, 3-Button Navigation enabled
They charge you coins like a casino to buy your card. they treat it like it's a paper invoice GROSSLY over priced. No Thanks
App seems great and does what I want it to! But a couple things: 1. The navigation on the bottom is hidden by the android home bar. So it is very hard to access anything on the bottom nav 2. It'd be nice if I could sort messages by recent. It's in a seemingly random order
Very unintuitive interface. Very easy to view the attendee list, but no easy way to view the post as seen by guests. An important event change was created as draft, but wasn't actually sent out because of the challenge of the complex interface, the change wasn't actually saved and sent out. In simple terms: developers need to reduce the number of button clicks necessary to "view as guest" for the author of a post
So far, the app is a GREAT tool and very helpful in managing and tracking guests. I wish it had been a bit more clear from the get-go on how it is all priced. It starts out letting you browse/build/design, so AFTER you have invested some time, etc., you learn the cost. It uses a "coin" system. I do not think the cost is bad, though. Just feel a little hijacked. The design features are really good, as well. Took some time to figure out all the little icons/functions, most of them, anyway.
This could be an easy 5 stars with all the Creative, elegant, quality features, easy tools, and a variety to choose from. If a mistake was made or information of recipient needs @to be updated after sending there's no correcting it. You'll have to resend the corrected info with a new invite. I think it would be awesome if it counts by the open invitation. If someone didn't receive it, it becomes a waste of coins/ money. but the overall is a good invite.
The coin situation is a bit confusing, but the invites are super cute and easy to wotk with in the App. There are lots of options for how much help you want/need on RSVPs, party planning, etc. I do wish the font would offer the option to automatically resize to fit your message into a given space, but it's easy to resize manually.
Not free to send. Unless I'm misunderstanding, the template is free but sending it via text/msg/email is not. (Your first 50 are free.) I made it, sent it via text, it was good but very pricey if using for a group that is large or a continuous event. I was looking for a way to invite people without having to use Facebook, but as this is a recurring monthly event, it's just too pricey.
I don't consider this intuitive at all. Maybe it's not well suited for a phone? I selected a card, placed photo, & saved. When I went back, it was all wrong. Instructions should appear first. I never found them. There is no "Undo" feature. Each time I touched a text box, I couldn't fix it. I spent more $ than planned since I couldn't reverse actions. I worked on one very simple card 4 hours. Also, $ prices, not how many "coins" should be posted up front. Extremely frustrating.
The app is kind of difficult to figure out but once you do it's a great tool for parties. I'm pretty tech savvy but my niece had to help me with the app and before that, she had her friend help her. Once I figured it out, I really like it. It keeps track of all my RSVPs. It tracks everything and tells me who RSVP'd, who opened their invite and who has not seen it yet. I'd recommend it if you're having a party. I haven't had to make any lists - the app organizes everything.
it never opens. I will never use Paperless Post again. The prices to send what are essentially virtual invitations are absolutely insane — I had to spend $50 just to send out a little over 10 invites. That’s ridiculous. To make matters worse, the app is consistently unreliable. I’m constantly stuck fighting to get past the opening screen, especially when I actually need it to work. For something that’s supposed to make event planning easier, this added nothing but frustration.
