works great for my painting and window restoration business edited to say I was disappointed when my business spiked right after I paid my yearly membership. I needed to upgrade, but there was no option to prorate my current yearly membership. I wish there were more perks to the app like being able to assign work to my team, log hours, track mileage ECT. for those reasons I probably won't renew my subscription next year.

update: congratulations invoice simple.. you've just outbid your usefulness. not only did you go up in price , but now you want to limit me to 3 invoices per month? well guess what. starting August 7th, I will be supporting another invoice maker. So far so good..in fact..it tells you when the customer has read the estimate, so guessing if they read it yet or not is not a problem..just waiting to see how the payment section goes..

I have been using this app since 2017. IT was good simple app. But now they billed me for 89.99 this time around and then two weeks later they tell me that I'm limited to 10 invoices a month very bad business practice because they did not say that when I renewed!!!! now they're changing the rules going to be looking for a new app!!!!!!!!

Generic app with greedy billing. You pay monthly for invoice credits, but if you don’t renew, they erase the unused ones you already paid for — no rollover, no warning. I paused during a slow period, not canceled, and still lost them. Customer service? Useless. They don’t care or try to understand. There are way better apps out there. If I could give 0 stars, I would. This is a scam for part-time users. Do NOT recommend.

I've used this app for nearly 10 years. It was rough in the beginning but has ever so slowly improved into a decent program. Unfortunately, it seems greed is taking over. They keep taking away features that have been included for years, forcing you to buy the next tier sub to get them back. It's now 20 bucks a month to send more than 10 invoices a month. I suppose if you do 200 invoices a month, it doesn't seem bad. For the little guy that does 11-15, probably best to look elsewhere sadly.

I hate this invoice app! The amount they charge to process payments is disgusting! Especially considering that you already pay a monthly fee. They keep approximately $15 on a $400 dollar transaction, and STILL make you wait AT LEAST three days before getting it into your bank account! If other payment apps, such as Zelle, cashapp, Venmo, and PayPal can do it MUCH quicker and much cheaper, then this company has no excuse. I am currently looking for one more reasonably priced.

I've been using I.S. for at least the last 5 years. I've put up with all limited services and still paid the premium. Over the last year or 2, they've increased the premiums and I went along with it. Now im limited to 10 a month. reason: they are no longer offering the plan i was on so that "all the customers are being charged the same amount(MORE$$)". so in order to get unlimited invoices like i had, I have to pay MORE money. How's that for LOYALTY. Go Figure. I'll just go over to QuickBooks🚮

The Subscription keeps getting more expensive and they're adding features that I don't want or need. I can't add the CC Processing company I use either (Square). Can't edit Payment dates if you forgot to mark the invoice paid same day. I went from 59.99 to 74.99, to 94.99 and now they want $149.99 for 1 year and $199.99 every year after. That's a ridiculous price jump! Its More than a 100% markup for the same basic features I need. Unfortunate I'll be shopping for alternative at this point.

I gave this app 5 stars a year ago. I only give it 2 stars now because of the constant harassment with setting up online payments and not being able to disable that feature on the invoices that go out. This causes confusion with my customers. I refuse to back charge them an extra 3.5% as suggested by Simple Invoice. I paid $200 for the premium account, my customers shouldn't have to pay them as well. I will not be renewing my subscription when it runs out.

I paid for a year subscription, then they changed the plan 3 months later limiting the number of invoices to 10 per month! This is a big downgrade they made in the middle of my subscription period. What a rip off!! I'm canceling my subscription. This is not how to treat your customers! I would not recommend this app.

currently waiting on customer service, it's been almost 2 days. The app no longer has the option to reach out to somebody. this app has been nothing but issues over the last couple years but they're usually at least quick to resolve them. But now it's like the whole app is down and I'm not getting through to anybody. it's extremely frustrating

I've had this app for about 10 years. I loved it. Recently, they forced me to upgrade if I wanted to send more than 10 invoices per month. So, I upgraded to an annual plan. Google play processed the payment and Invoice Simple says they did not get the money. $218 just gone, and Google will not refund me. I'm stuck with the monthly limited plan. Their app support is all AI now, it's TERRIBLE!!!. This is theft!!!

although the function of this app is great. at the rate they are going I'll be unsubscribing and looking elsewhere. the price goes up considerably every year. on top of that I just got a message saying that some of the tools I have will no longer be available to me. they are moving them to the "premium" accounts and I have to upgrade to continue using them. I'm currently paying double what I signed on to pay originally, and I don't even get all the features that I purchased in the first place!!

I've been with this app several years, and all of a sudden, they say I'm on a legacy plan that now only gives me 3 invoices per month unless I upgrade. I'm already paying $94 a year plus extra fees. They waited until I renewed last November and didn't share this with me until now when I currently started having issues. As a refund, there is no early cancelation refund thru the google playstore.

Do not do the basic package. it is a scam. It says you get 3 invoices per month but I have now had 3 different months where it would not let me send one until it resets. read the fine print! it is set up so you upgrade to the more expensive package. nobody can tell me why. they have no customer service! you are not a priority unless you pay $150/yr

I remember a time when this app cost me $2.99/month, and although it has gotten incredibly expensive, I'd be lost without it! it's gotten pretty great over the years. it's easy to use, on my range and the receiving end as well, accepts all forms of payment ( except cash, obviously), looks professional, can be downloaded by your customers as a printable PDF from text messages, and keeps track of all your income for you. it's come a long way since it's early days and is an overall great app!

I was told in a reminder message my price was going up to $59.99 anaully. Now its telling me $199.99 annually for unlimited invoices. Which was a feature I already had for a cheaper price. Been using this program for 5 years. What a shame with the price hikes and little to no upgrades/changes on anything. When I first started using this app in 2020 is was $19.99.

This app has plenty of glitches and the Technical support agents aren't very knowledgeable. If you add the fact that the monthly subscription has more than doubled in the last couple of years and that, that functionalities that were part of the basic subscription have now been removed and you have to pay for them separately, you can probably understand the reason I scored them 1 star.

very good app. but they keep raising there prices. when i 1st installed it was 4.99. now they want 19.99. I will pass , at this rate it will be 49.99 in a year. go with a different invoicing app. Netflix has billions of users and manages billions of movies in the world yet they dont change 20 bucks a month. these people don't even make my invoices and dont manage them at all yet they charge more than Netflix. unbelievable

I've been using this app for years. Since it was beta. The past several months, they've made changes like increasing the price while limiting the invoices you send. I tried to upgrade, and all that did was make sure I was charged for 2 subscriptions every month while still having a strict limit on the number of invoices I can send. I tried contacting the company but didn't have any luck.
