Description
Been using iperf for TV – iperf3 measure for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you test your internet speeds on your Android TV. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.
Here’s what you do: you can run TCP, UDP, and SCTP tests to measure bandwidth, packet loss, and jitter. There’s also some advanced stuff like tuning buffers and protocols. Took me a while to figure out all the settings but it’s useful once you get it.
Look, if you’re into networking and want to test your home or office internet, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the interface is a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need to measure speeds on your TV.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on iperf for TV - iperf3 measure. I've tested a bunch of network testing apps and this one's pretty solid. The core functionality works really well - I've run tons of speed tests and it gives me all the key metrics I need. The advanced settings are nice if you're a power user, but the basic stuff is easy enough for regular folks too. Not gonna lie, the UI is a little dated and clunky, but it gets the job done. If you need to test network speeds on your Android TV, this is one of the better options out there.
