So here's my take on iRecord: Transcribe Voice Note. I've tested a bunch of productivity apps and this one's a pretty solid option. The voice recording quality is great, and the transcription AI is surprisingly accurate - way better than some of the competition. I like that it's got all the basic features you'd want, like easy file export and sharing. The only downsides are that the transcriptions can get a bit wonky on pretty technical subjects, and the app itself is a little basic in terms of design. But for a free productivity tool, it definitely gets the job done.
