this app is not working at all for me or my girlfriend. we've both entered all our correct info more than 10 times, on more than one day and everytime I get "info doesn't match" or "no refunds found with this info".. I see many other people having this same problem so at least I'm not the only one dealing with this nonsense.. please fix it!

It gave me exact date for refund and additional information. Keep trying later like I did. Be patient, they may be shorthanded due to Covid-19.
Frustrating... I have gone turned to this app because the website it self it's inefficient when it comes to finding out about your account information or anything regardless. Turns out the same thing. No matter how many times I enter the correct information, it would still give me "incorrect information". I thought it was just me but I did my research online and it turned out there hundreds of people having this same issue. Can anyone help!?
The app does it's job and does it well. The user needs to have their expected refund dollar amount on hand for the tax filling year. You need to have your 1040 available or have the expected or refunded amount recorded somewhere. If you don't have that exact figure, it won't find the information. The previous three tax filling years are available to look up.
The app doesn't even function. There is always an error with my information ,when the information is actually valid. Why even waste your time with this junk. In other words, pulling out all of your hair and lighting yourself on fire would yeild shockingly better results while trying to figure out your refund date. Utterly useless in all senses of the word.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but it's saying my information doesn't match. I reentered all my information to be sure I didn't mess up. I also went to the website where I filed my taxes to double check the amount and reentered and it again and it still says the information does not match. Eh..Oh well, I guess I'll get it when it gets here or I won't..lol I did get an email saying it was accepted, I was just testing the update system to see what it would say. Star change when I figure it out.
The first week after filing, it showed 1 out of 3 bars highlighted in blue for "returns accepted" but the other day, it stopped even displaying the bars that show the status of the refund. What's going on here, and why can't I see the progress of my refund now? The info provided is vague and the links to click for more info don't seem to pertain to my situation. Now I'm completely in the dark and the app isn't doing what I got it for at all. Overall, it's a great app though.
It's weird that it either gets 1 star or 5, either works perfect or doesn't work at all... I ofcourse am on the doesn't work at all side. I put all of my info in correctly and it's saying the information does not match, and no I'm not putting in the combined amount, just my federal return. Super annoying to just be sitting around waiting for my return not knowing where or if it's even on the way
It's obvious everyone else is experiencing problems with trying to look at their refund status. I too am getting the same message as others. That my information I entered is incorrect. Which clearly it IS correct. I called the IRS instead and got my update. PLEASE fix this problem. Not only the app is having problems so is the website. This is VERY inconvenient.
Terrible, not accurate@all! I kept checking it several times a day,especially since it say's to expect your refund in 21 days or less! It had been more than 30 days&I just recieved my direct deposit&was notified through my bsnks texts notifying me so. I decided to check the app just to see what it would say before I uninstalled it, it said the same b/s as before ,your refunds still beoing processed, we'll notify of a date as soon as it becomes available! B/S👎💩😒👎
This app is absolute trash. You can only check your refund status 3 times a day and a lot of the time, itll say the information doesn't match and each time it says that, it counts as you checking the status of your refund. Also, your refund status never really gets updated on the app. Maybe once every 2 weeks if you're lucky. Would give it 0/5 stars if possible.
It worked fine the last couple of years. But this year, I get what everyone else is getting. The information you entered does not match. I can't see the social security number when it's being entered, but being in the military a while ago, I know my social security number by heart. So I know it isn't that. Also, I checked turbo tax to see if I entered everything right with them. I did, so it's this app that has the problem.
Doesn't work! Waste of time! Last year, it did the same thing types in all my info correctly and says it doesn't match! In reality, their whole system is the same went to the site online same thing! I even had my recent tax info out just to make sure I hadn't sent the incorrect info, and the same thing! Honestly no stars if I could! Will change if it ends up working
Last year it worked great. This year it only showed my return was accepted. I checked every 5 days after filing and no changes yet I already received my refund on Feb 23rd. Even checking via the irs website it never changed from return accepted. Wondering who isn't doing their job at the irs, who is supposed to set these automatic updates. 3 stars only because it worked last year. But since the website isn't updating, I won't totally blame the app.
Entered accurately with the year displaying 2022 - doesn't work! The app and the irs website doesn't work. Such a headache, I wish they could've announced that it's having technical difficulties because I thought it was just me until I came to the reviews of the app. I was seriously worried. The only thing my status says is accepted.. it doesn't say processed or whatever. Idk I'll just wait it out and hopefully it all works out fine. -- Overall the app and website both suck terribly!
Doesn't work. I read many reviews that explain this in more detail - sigh 😕. OK as many have mentioned, the mismatch error pops up Even when it's not really a mismatch. Maybe it hasn't been 24 hours yet, or it has but there hasn't been update within the 24 hours that you need. It sounds like there is a daily limit you can request status. Also they do only update once A-day around midnight. Altogether not a workable app. Yet these folks give it 4 🌟 after listing issues???? I don't understand.
It worked great last year. I was able to use it one time this year now i have an incorrect information message when i put in the same info as i did the first time... Not sure how that works. 😒 waste of time and space. Fix it my rating may go up but this is unacceptable. And for all of the people calling people stupid, can you explain why it worked once and now wont work at all? I didnt start checking until the first of February, more than 24 hours after i filed and im having issues. Soooo???
Works fine for me. I wonder if anyone trying to input their information is combining both their federal and state? They just want your federal. Just a thought. I just barely filed and already my info is showing. I don't doubt others are having difficulties. Both the app and website are notorious for having problems. It's to be expected when you have such an enormous database and millions of people filing all at once.
I am absolutely devastated. I made two payments, in Aug and Sept 2023, through this app. At the time, like a total fool, I did not look for a confirmation number. I saw the amounts had been debited and I marked down that those tax payments had been paid. Fast forward to 3 weeks ago, and I received a letter from the IRS saying I owed taxes. When I called, they told me they never received these 2 payments. My bank is currently investigating, but I stand to have lost nearly 6k over this. Terrible!!
after over an hour on hold i got to talk to someone. the "information does not match error" also applies to them not having a return on file, they are so far behind that i sent mine in february and they still dont have it on record months later - last years return took 8 months. still, the app is useless to me since by the time it shows on there i should have it in my bank. 1 star for the irs in general, hire more people.
