Reviews for iSyncr: iTunes to Android

This app was my saving grace when switching to android. It was easy to set up and use. My music was well organized in iTunes and iSyncr kept my playlist exactly as I had them. I paid for RocketPlayer and now iSyncr wants me to pay $14.99/WEEK? The app has been in decline for years but I gave the benefit of the doubt that the development team might be small but this is a straight money grab now, for the "Premium" that I use to have for free.

I used this app for years and it worked perfectly. I store all my music on iTunes on my laptop and this was the perfect transferring app to get all that music onto my phone. Used Rocket Player to play the music. I got the S22 Ultra in January and both these apps don't work w/ it. Isyncr now dumps all or most of my music when doing a transfer and re-adds it, taking an agonizingly long time. And doesnt always add my new music. Rocket player can't even stay open thru a single song. Just shuts off.

Initial sign up indicated ax1 time cost of $1.98. After entering credit card info, and before confirming, the small print said after a 5 day free trial, my credit card will be charged $49.9(9) per month! I deleted my credit card info and uninstalled the app. Then I noticed my credit card was charged a pending fee of $1.00! Hopefully, I will not be charged the recurring fee!!!

it's really a great app and probably the best thing out there for sinking an old iTunes music list and playlists with an Android music player. it used to have a great reverse sink feature that allowed me to make changes to my playlist on the phone and then sync them back to iTunes but somehow that has not really been working well for quite some time. that would be one major improvement I would like to see, to have that functionality restored.

When downloading app got a popup wanting a "one time" payment of $4.99, discounted from $99.00. Should have known better at this point, but continued the process. I went into app and it's showing that I only have access for 3 days from the point of installing. Apparently the billing cycle ends then, so on top of it NOT being a one time payment, I paid for 3 days until the next billing cycle, where I believe I'll be charged again. So disappointed.

Used to be a big fan. Around Jan '22 syncs started taking 4 hrs instead of 1. In Sept '22 wifi sync stopped working entirely. I open app, click button for wifi sync, & app closes. This happens on 3 different phones. Uninstall/reinstall doesn't help. I've emailed them 8 times since Sept. They suggest fixes that don't work or say they're working on it. After 3 months, I don't think they really will fix it. Other reviews here say the same. ETA: Their reply says to email them. I did, 8 times!

$15 a week. Almost $800 a year, to sync my iTunes. You are nuts. App immediately deleted. No app is worth that much a year. I can get apple music, or Amazon music for that much a month, and it's not limited to what's on my iTunes. And, of course, their response will be that the features are worth it. Let me tell you, no features are worth that much with the available alternatives to this app.

Rip-off!!!! I downloaded the app and started the process of establishing an account. The app opened my browser to a site that is a scam. The site attempted to charge 2 different credit cards $39.99. Fortunately, both banks noticed the scam and declined the transaction. Both cards are now blocked. Rip-off. Google, get the app off your store. Are you kidding me? Your app forwarded me to 2 different sites that immediately tried to charge my credit cards! There was no option to accept your terms.

I tried out iSyncr and the Rocket Music app for less than 30 minutes. Once I got it figured out, it seemed cool and did what i wanted, but since it limits you to synching only 100 playlist songs, I looked into how much it would cost to remove that limit thinking I'd just have to buy a premium version for a few bucks. At $14.99 per WEEK, that is definitely a deal breaker. But I'm not paying a subscription at ANY price just to sync and play music I own.

I've used this app for years, because it's the best... but that doesn't mean it's particularly good. It often fails to remove old synced playlists from its own sister app, Rocket Player. I listen to my entire collection of roughly 500 albums in playlist form; if I make any name changes to my playlists, iSyncr/Rocket Player seem determined to never, EVER forget the old ones, clogging Rocket Player with 100s of outdated playlists. Tethered syncing used to be decent (if slooow) -- but now there's no option to not sync unchecked songs via tethered syncing, so I am FORCED to sync via wifi... which would be fine, but it's a much slower process via the interface on the phone screen than it is on the desktop interface, requiring two clicks per playlist instead of just one, AND I am also not told how much space remains on my SD card like I am in the desktop interface. I paid for Rocket Player years back, and have been using this app in twain with it for no extra charge... until today, when I discovered there was now a $9.99 charge. Seemed high, but I paid it... and when I tried to "Select All" playlists to sync: "Not Available in iSyncr Free". But I PAID... sigh. Makes me miss my iPod.
