Great app, better support! Was looking for an app to help declutter and organize my home. The multitude of options is great and I started to see this app like a swiss army knive. Besides my home, I can also use it to order my collections ( stamps, postcards) and even organize my important personal documents. Was afraid of the limitations but I found that fear was unfounded. Contacted support and a few hours later they informed the Premium storage limit of 2Gb. And that's a lot. *****
Reviews for Itemtopia Inventory
← Back to Itemtopia InventoryI was going to leave a 5-star review until i realised that windows availability is a lie. Using bluestacks is a nightmare, you have to be very tech savvy to have it and it needs to be installed, which means you can't access your account from any windows PC, which would be the only solution if my phone was stolen and needed to access the phone's details for insurance purposes. It would have been so much easier to just have a decent website!!!!! Very disappointed, I don't like false advertising
I like this but wish it could "join" collections. I would like to have a field in a collection where I select something from another collection. For example, maybe I have a collection of books and want to note if a book is in a trilogy and which trilogy it's in. I'd like to have a different collection of trilogies and then be able to select one (or more) of those in the book entry. That's what I'd really love! Still feeling out the app otherwise.
I've been using Itemtopia for a number of years now & all of the sudden it won't let me add any new items and is forcing me to Premium. It looks like they changed their pricing model to only 100 items (in one of their responses below, they write "May 29, 2023Itemtopia is FREE to use. FREE. Nothing is hidden. You can add unlimited Items, Notes, Receipts and Images. The Premium option is only if you wish to print QR Codes, or export data and this typically businesses." I can't even download
Edited to add after the response I got. I uninstalled the app and reinstall it and it's works great. 5 stars because it's been my go to app and now I add great customer service! Was my absolute favorite app. I can't not get the "What's new" pop up to go away. Even when I click tap to learn more, it comes straight back. I can not access anything at this time. Hopefully this will be addresses soon because I loved this app.
Great app, however has a number of bugs. It frequently just stops working. Would be great if it automatically saves your work. Had to redo inputs a number of times because I forgot to manually save. Also would be very helpful to have a desktop version, or at least a place to go online and see your stuff on the website. Response to questions and feedback is limited to non-existent. This app has the potential to be life-changing but requires much better support.
Casual or semi-frequent users with a limited budget: this is NOT for you. As good of a cataloging, inventory, tracker type app you'll find, it is too pricey for most. Again, this is probably the BEST app of its kind on the playstore. Unfortunately the free/basic plan is too limited in every aspect it might as well be listed as a paid/prem only app. There will be a lite version of the app coming soon so tbd.
I couldn't add photos because it kept along for a permission to be set in settings. I went into my app permissions on my phone and set every permission as allowed. Then I went back to the app and looked for settings everywhere in app Would not let me add any photos through my library. I can't spend a ton of time going around in circles I'm just wanting to add some items this app just takes you in circles. Seems like a great idea but I have a lot of work to do and I can't keep playing with it.
This app, Itemtopia, is great! You can organize your items in a way that is as detailed as you want it to be. Add spaces and groups to help organize your things into a very useful and efficient format. My only positive criticism actually comes from the fact that it's so detailed. That is the fact that it can be a bit daunting in appearance when first used. Stick with it! It gets much easier and is worth the learning curve!
The app is really good, I like everything about this, I've been using it for collectibles lists and I'm really satisfied with it but I've been hit with a subscription wall and I'm just going back to making spreadsheets. I'd prefer if there was a one time purchase option bc everything is already a subscription and I have enough stuff I have to pay for forever Edit: I stand by my judgement, freescription is becoming just as bad as freemium, I'm not renting another thing
Well I use the app a lot! My goal is to place all my stuff in the app and give every item a home. I hate spending time searching for stuff. Also, I want to stop buying stuff that I already own because I can't find it. I love the way you can scan a barcode and it pulls up the item details, works most of the time. Suggesting they add a way to select multiple items at the same time for group edits.
Is a good app, but lacking very useful features. I like that items can be added with a upc code. There is no ability to update multiple items at once, like changing category or quantity. No ability to set a default quantity. Reports are not customizable. If I want to export a list of items in only one space, category, or whatever, it's not possible. QR codes would be more useful if space codes opened to a list of linked items.
Works great and I love it so much more then the rest of the inventory apps. My only issue so far is that I am scanning items like my books in, but the app tries to use the same image for each book, (from my first scan) it will not update the image unless I forceclose the app and that's irritating so I have to manually take a picture. If there is a fix for this I would love it even more!
I searched around for a while to find an app that would help me keep track of my 600+ piece collection of model horses, with all the info I wanted at hand. This app does a wonderful job of that! I love that I can customize the fields as needed, and that it gives me a running total of my quantity as well as total value/ cost. since it allows pictures for each record, it also let's me quickly reference to see if I have a model or still need to add it to my collection! Love It!
I really like the app, but it gives me issues from time to time. Like I can't take pictures while in the app. I first have to take pictures then add. In addition, it will not scan bar codes until I first open the app, close it, then open it again. Today, it will not let me move past the initial screen. But when it does work, I love it. Update: customer support was able to help me identify that the issues i was having was due to my phone and settings, not the app itself. So 5 stars instead of 3!
Updated: Uninstalling & reinstalling fixed the issue. Thanks for the help! Had success using "contact us" to get help too :) Good app. Useful, easily searchable. Lets you put item photos + title + description & sort by where you keep items. Hopefully it will help keep boxes straight when I move. Long load time, kind of scared to use w/o wifi. Just know: It's not free. They let you have just enough items & spaces to like it... then you can't add more w/o the subscription. Worth it tho.
So far so good. PRO: I really, really love the print feature as I need to send a list to my home owners insurance company. CON: The items value and notes don't show up on the printable list. Honestly this is probably user error, but I cannot find a place to add the value (yes, I have been adding cost to the receipt area). Any guidance out there!?
It is £8 per month or £80 per year. That's very expensive for what it is (one competitor is $25 per year for example). The developer hides the cost until you've installed it. At that price I just uninstalled - it doesn't even matter whether the app is good or not. UPDATE: Despite the response below, the app says "Total items :0/100". 100 is the limit mentioned on the website and other comments also say there is a 100 item limit. :face-palm:
Just downloaded the app on an LG V30, works great thus far. I will admit that I'm a bit concerned about spending days adding several hundred items, and then getting hit with an item limit or some premium subscription charge. However, thus far, I don't see anything that indicates this will happen. The customizable fields and search should make for an incredible system of organization. If this truly is a free app, consider me blown away. Thank you!
I downloaded this, looked through the initial instructions, etc. Finally get to the main dashboard to find out the free version allows only 20 items. I don't need an app for 20 items. I can't adequately use or test functionality with only 20 items. This is just a way to say they have 2 levels, free and premium, when they don't. The only functional level is premium, currently $35 per year, approximately.
