Reviews for Jamzone - Sing & Play Along

← Back to Jamzone - Sing & Play Along

I've been singing for more than 4 decades now and this is the best backing tracks app that you can find both on apple and android! It's worth the monthly subscription fee! Everthing about this app is wonderful and fantastic! It's got chords and lyrics that play at the same time. You can adjust the key, put some parts on loop for practicing, put vocals when learning song or remove the vocals and other instrument when you're playing with it. Try it and you won't regret it! I promise.

This is genuinely a Band in a Box Meticulously put together, and each track can be split between instruments so you can jam along. Tracks are chargeable but there's plenty of free ones (topically Christmas ones) and you are given a credit by making an account with them. There's a plethora of tracks to download. They even give you a demo before purchase, to see if it's good for you.

I usually don't take time to write reviews, but I have to say this app is AMAZING! User friendly, so fun and sounds great! Only thing I would change would maybe be a chord chart or something along those lines for the more advanced chords. Other than that, incredible. I have yet to try it for a live performance, but that's coming soon. Totally worth the price if you're a paid musician..

Did not expect such a good quality of the app itself (the user interface and features like the mix overview/control). The quality and amount of recorded songs is also impressive. There are even less mainstream bands that I like, like Dream Theater and Helloween. Good job! Yes, you have to pay 10 euro/month, but it is definitely worth it. And I see that the team is planning to add new songs.

Ok, very limited selection of tunes without paying! Songs are repeated, so it looks like a lot of free tunes. Didn't bother to see if the songs were repeated because of varying degrees in difficulty. Had already lost interest. The sound quality seemed ok, what little I used the app. Just down loaded app and a few minutes exploring, I am deleting! Gotta do better than this guys! Bye!

At first, I thought I purchased another Dud app, but oh boy, I'm now fully committed. It works just as well on android, which I thought was the issue . I play in a few cover bands, so I need to get into the finer details and break down parts that I play as well as where the rest of the band plays . Being able to isolate each part on the mixer to assess and analyse is making a huge difference to getting the band more coherent. The library of songs is impressive

I'm having a mixed experience with this app. It sounds amazing and yes, some tracks do have chords and lyrics displayed, the ability to switch on and off different instruments is great. (Lately however when the app gives a notification that an artist's work is available I find that the chords and lyrics are not displayed. This is frustrating, time wasting and it's inaccurate information.) PS thanks for quick response, I look forward to seeing the lyrics and chords soon. I've upped to 4 stars.

Incredibly useful, inspiring, versatile, and fun for musicians and singers of all levels. It's a practice tool, it's a learning tool, it's a Next Level karaoke app... I have been playing and Performing music for 30 years and jamzone is an absolute game changer. No app is perfect, but jamzone is really something special. I just can't recommend it enough. I LOVE JAMZONE!!!

This app is really great. The first few days of having this app have been just so much fun. However starting today the app is continually freezing stopping in the middle of song and I have plenty of Wi-Fi and I have plenty of space on my phone. I uninstalled and reinstalled it nothing works. It stopped on me three times in the middle of performing. It was extremely frustrating. If you can fix that bug it would be awesome. The other thing I wish you could alter the arrangement

App seems great.. but no ability to use it without paying $10/month or 20$/month. It's too steep of a price to ask before even trying it. Because even if it was fantastic, there's no way I can pay 10 a month for this 1 app. You would get me for one month max. There needs to be more plans/options. Ultimate Guitar Pro cost me like 20 bucks/ year. Moises separates instruments free. Chordify to search generated chords.. etc. I would love to use it but unfortunately that's not within my budget.

The biggest thing I like about this app is that you can change the keys. And, it makes it super easy to play along with whatever instrument you want. They have a very large variety of songs, there are occasionally songs that they don't have yet, but as far as I know they update the app every once in awhile to add more songs. A really great app for practicing

Great idea, but buggy at times (issues with downloading even with good WiFi). The interface can be frustrating, especially since there is no way to repeat individual measures (you have to do whole sections). Also, they occasionally make mistakes (don't always have accurate transcriptions, wrong chords here and there). Instead of scrolling past chords during playback, I'd rather have a static chord chart or at least a way to zoom out to see chords for entire section and not just two measures.

Dead on accurate. Excellent for learning individual parts and for use as backing tracks. Has all the features I need. Easy to create set lists. You can move songs up and down easily. The only drawback it has is when an artist doesn't give permission to use the words and chords. Jamzone has no control over that, and they do recreate these songs accurately. You need to have skills to use these tracks. Overall an excellent app.

This is exactly the backing track app I always wished existed, and it does! Easy to use, no ads, you can buy backing tracks from a very wide selection for a reasonable price, you can turn on and off parts, speed up and slow down, transpose, turn sections of the song on and off, it really has the whole package. My only wish is that mute/unmute settings saved between each time you open a song.

Got into the app, saw you can't do a full song unless you get premium, but you can't do a free trial. With apps like this if there's not a free trial I immediately pass. There's just too much variance in how good these things are and I'm not going to pay $10 to find out it sucks. Add a free trial y'all, andI'll give you another try to use the actual app. That stopped me right in my tracks though.

This is perfect for my 2 man band to play live music. It also makes practicing together and alone so much easier. It's not completely without flaws (some songs don't have chords or lyrics due to legal reasons), but it easily earns my 5 stars. If the song you want to play has ever had radio play, it's probably in their library.

JamZone is easily the best practice tool I've ever used. It's also great for filling in instruments that may be missing from your band. I've become a much better player since using JamZone. The monthly fee feels completely reasonable given the value this app provides. It's really hard to imagine how this app could be better. You can turn instruments and vocals on and off. You can change tempo and keys arbitrarily. There are many thousands of songs in the database. What's not to like?

This app is useful in many respects, but it lacks a basic feature that I hope will be added at some point: the ability to lower (not mute) the volume of all instruments simultaneously when (and this is key) you want to hear just one of the instruments at full volume. Note: the master volume control does NOT apply to this use case!

I have used chordify and tabs, this app takes the Cake - I just canceled my other apps and for the pro price of $20 a month, it does everything the other apps do plus! very user-friendly! share set list, tons of instruments to choose from, very well put together, the stems are fabulous! it's like playing with a full band on demand! I'm a keyboardist! The chord charts are amazing if you get in a bind.

This is an amazing music app that replaces all others for jamming on your own, family karaoke, or some light busking. It has a wide range of music selection and easy controls. Very, very pleased. REQUEST: Please add an effective and accurate way to filter all available titles by genre. I'm specifically looking for Christian Worship music which is widely available in your catalog, but impossible to find unless I search for specific song titles.
