Only spam/fake accounts - Immediately have multiple beautiful woman all wanting to message in bad grammar and all with the same location. When asked how this city is, they all say, I'm in Canada, I'm in California, everywhere except the city their account is associated with and in very short time, they ask for going to 3rd party messaging services. ALL of them. In a 12 hour day, not one was a real person. Deleted app after 48 hours and cannot show developer each fake account.
Reviews for Jaumo Dating App: Flirt & Date
← Back to Jaumo Dating App: Flirt & DateMy paid account has been locked out twice with paid service. Neither the Jaumo team is restoring it nor returning my paid membership money. The response is very slow, and no call helpline is available. No clear response by team. looting money from customers is not good thing to do.
Overall an app with a relatively active userbase, though be wary of possible fakes. The paywalls are also really restrictive. Tech support can take nearly a day to respond to messages if you don't live on EU time, I had a login situation that took a week to resolve.
(eddit: let people screenshot so you can search for the photos then) Anyone that is remotely attractive (and I mean the tiniest bit attractive) is a fake profile, I've matched with guys I've thought where just passable and a day latter I've got another account living me with the same photos, some even have the same name name. Scam scam scam app, avoid
I've literally met people who are catfish scammers asking for money. and a ton of bots. There's definitely a way you can prevent this make your users be verified by identity before being able to use the app if you can't do that then you don't care. it's impossible to catch the fake profiles because your system isn't making everyone be selfie identity verified.
Downloaded this app out of boredom TWICE just to see what's different from Tinder/Grindr. And it is the WORST 'dating app' ever. Seriously. If you match, it's 90% likely a scammer/cat-phishing. When I DID 'match' with someone, I got asked MULTIPLE times to download an outside texting app like WhatsApp, Telegram, or something. It's INSANE even with 'verified' people because they can fake it EASY by uploading a photo then using the SAME photo to verify. I did this just to see if it worked. 0/10
When viewing an image or checking someone’s profile in a group chat, after pressing the back button the chat automatically scrolls to the bottom, instead of returning to the same message where I left off. The same issue occurs in personal chats as well. This makes it difficult to follow conversations, especially in active groups, because I lose the chat position and have to scroll up manually to find where I was.
It's a no from me. I got pretty disturbed while using the app. You can set what age range you want to see, but that doesn't stop the app from showing your profile to people who are outside that range. Almost immediately, there are people WAY outside my age range that have liked me. By that I mean people who are old enough to be my parents! I find this to be quite disgusting, and to make matters worse, you can't remove people from your liked section. This is unacceptable!
was about to give this a positive review however I discovered the first paid tier subscription doesn't allow you to see likes. truly awful. as soon as I caved and bought premium I was flooded with likes from bots unverified and only one picture. there are ai profiles to waste your time with but you can turn them off. why would I want to seek a bot intentionally?
got tons of matches -- almost all of them are either bots or scams. I only encountered one real person... and they didn't even match my preferences. it basically feels like a "random people fed into scams" app. it ain't even like others where it's people selling links -- it's just filthy with scammers I don't know how they could fix it given how slapdash it feels.
If you have a match, you cannot write to it or see it unless you pay for it. They claim that "once you match with someone, you can write with them", but in your message section below matches there are only blurred images of the profiles of the matches. If you touch them, you get a pay wall! They call it "potential matches" in the feedback here, but in the App UI it is just called "matches". This is clearly to mislead users to pay.
honestly a super boring app that nobody in my area uses. between the hideously blunt bot accounts and people always wanting to travel off platform it's been a really stupidly boring time. i'd write more but I have better connections with your competitors to respond to. like bumble and wooplus. i flagged your app for suspicious activity because of all the bots, paywalls, and etc.
it honestly isn't horrific you get a decent amount of engagement, minimal ads, no pay to win, it's quite nice. the amount of robots is absolutely remarkable, I spent most of my time reporting fake profiles as opposed to actually swiping. it's pretty time consuming and I don't know if any of the accounts got taken down.
Simply horrible. Over the 7 day free trial I ran into more than 60 profiles that were fake, advertising, or scams. Maybe one profile was a real person not trying to deceive me. Many are bots. Several profiles with the same picture. Site owner may say they weed out bad profiles but a good site/app would not have this many bad profiles. Find a way to weed them out or admit defeat. Not worth the time to download or space it takes up.
This app is terrible, because you can't clear the matches, also there are still fake profiles, because I saw two accounts that have the same picture, so yeah one of them is fake. Uploading photos is a joke, it will not let me upload photos of me and my cat, the app think the photo of me and my cat is inappropriate, why, there's nothing inappropriate about the photo, so the photo restrictions make no sense. Can't find anybody in my distance and the distance settings don't work that well.
Update 3/19: Unfortunately I am dissatisfied with the app mainly for its partner recommendations and its filters. Changing one filter of the many they have, for me, results in no one existing. I spend most of my time looking at who is nearby rather than what's recommended. I also found many profiles of one person no matter how many times blocked or reported. Filters for the nearby option work perfectly fine, just not the recommended. I hope this gets handled. I'm trying other ways away from app
I've never encountered so many scammers/fakes. So many that I can't keep up with reporting them. Also, when I receive a like and select their profile, it says "user not found" and I can't even match with them. I'm certainly not resubscribing. Reply to Joyride GmnH- Then why am I still able to select a profile that states "user not found" on the "likes" tab in another tab such as "visitors"? Makes no sense.
So I am not going to give this 1 star, but I also can't can't get a higher score. 1st off, I shouldn't have to put what location distance to "doesn't matter", and age to "doesn't matter" just to make the app stop asking me to change my filters so I can find new people. Yes, this is the only way it works, and you can't tell me otherwise. 2nd, there are way too many bots (scammers) over people. I haven't found anyone compatible, even remotely close to where I live and not fake.
Found a "Turn off AI chatbot" option in the settings, and when I turned it off, it broke the entire app. Couldn't look through any potential matches, saying that "You have a really bad connection, try again later", mind you I'm usually on fast wifi. Deleted, reinstalled, did not fix. Also, I had gotten a few matches, and by the 3rd person I spoke to, it flagged me with a red '!' saying something about "do this to continue this story", and I thought that was shady
Compared to other apps, there is more interaction. I have matched WAYY more often, but the matches either don't respond, or are underage, or are scammers. I've had 2 separate matches admit they were under 18 in the first 10 minutes of back and forth, and a thurd match that completely didn't know the name of the app and thought it was something else, as though this and another app have the same userbase under different names. Don't waste your time.
