Description
I’ve been using the JBL Portable app for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you connect to and control your JBL portable speakers straight from your phone. Pretty solid if you’ve got a bunch of JBL speakers around the house.
Here’s what you can do: you can connect multiple speakers for stereo or party mode to really pump up the volume. And there’s also options to customize the sound and get software updates. Took me a bit to figure out all the features but it’s pretty user-friendly overall.
Look, if you’ve got JBL speakers, this app is a no-brainer. It’s not perfect – the settings can be a bit confusing sometimes – but it does the job of letting you control your speakers from your phone. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into the JBL ecosystem.
Editor Opinion
So in my experience, the JBL Portable app is a pretty solid companion for anyone with JBL speakers. I've tried a bunch of speaker apps and this one's one of the better ones. The ability to connect multiple speakers and customize the sound is great. The only real downside is the settings can be a bit tricky to navigate at first. But overall, it's a user-friendly way to get more out of your JBL gear.
