Been using the Jesus Calling Daily Devotional app for a couple months now. It’s basically a daily devotional that gives you a short passage and reflection to read each day. Helps you stay connected with Jesus and feel more peaceful, you know?
Here’s what you do – there’s a new devotion every day that you can read through. It’s got some Scripture verses and then a personal reflection from the author Sarah Young. And you can also listen to the devotions if you want. And there’s a way to save your favorite ones too, which is nice.
Look, if you’re into daily devotional apps and want something focused on Jesus, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the audio quality could be better and the app can be a little glitchy sometimes. But overall it does the job and helps me start my day off right.

So here's my take on the Jesus Calling Daily Devotional app. I've tried a bunch of different Bible and devotional apps, and this one's pretty solid. I like the daily reflections and how they're grounded in Scripture. Seems to help me feel more connected to Jesus and less stressed, which is the whole point. The audio feature is a nice touch too. On the downside, the app can be a little buggy at times and the devotions start to feel repetitive after a while. But for a free app, it's worth checking out if you want a simple, Jesus-centered way to do your daily quiet time.
