Your changelog for updates simply says "bug fixes". Details man, we need details. Your CTO is incompetent for allowing you to push without detailed change logs. Don't do it again.
Great app for playing your music, everything is neatly organized and plays the 2 most common formats I use (mp3 and FLAC). Only issue I have, which by no means is knocking the developer, is I've needed to re-rip any live cd's or cd's that cross from one track to the next seamlessly from mp3 to FLAC because mp3's leave audio gaps in the file. iTunes on my PC handles mp3 gapless playback just fine which is why everything was ripped as mp3 back many years ago. Not a huge deal.
I've had this app for years and never had an issue with it until the last update . I can't rearrange songs in a playlist anymore. I have to delete the whole playlist to change the order, and I hate having a large photo at the top of a playlist when I open one . I just like pictures on the song file . I can live with that but I'm tired of making new playlist when I want songs in a different order. It's still the best music playing app I've tried .

Been using this for years as my only player. shuffling could be better, as I have hundreds of artists on my phone and get repeats often.
The best music player app I've used, thus far. Minus 1 star because you can't sort files by track number, causing some albums to effectively play shuffled!
I have used this app for quite some time but lately it has really gone to the dogs. Regular audio skipping, crashes, and other bugs have been happening. All of this has gotten worse since Android 11 came out and while I have given it several months it appears the developers are not wanting to put in the effort to get it running on Android 11. I am moving on. Don't buy if you are worried about support. There is no excuse for audio playback issues on a Pixel 3a.
I purchased the 20-band equaliser, but I am unable to use it with the previous paid version that I already bought. It allows me to use the 20-band equaliser, but other features I paid for are not compatible with it. It states that I have to purchase them again, which is confusing. I regret spending another £4.89 if they don’t work together, especially since I have already bought all the paid features.
You can't go wrong with Jet Audio, just ordered the plus version, have been very happy overall highly recommended at this point. update 09/19/25 >so....yeah what happened to all the great players out there? Jet Audio is about the best at this point even with all their shenanigans, which is why I'm still recommending it) shocking really only because of the lack of other players to choose from I guess. better hurry up Jet and update your product.
