Reviews for Jigsaw Dating

this app may have the worst messenger in the history of apps. The text screen that comes up is super small, it sometimes double sends a previous text, making you look like an absolute bozo. I award this company no points in may God have mercy on their souls

It was a great venue. The ice breaker bingo was amazing and got people talking and interacting very quickly. Abandoned the bingo card and just had a great conversation with Isabelle. Highly recommend checking it out.

Not bad for my FIRST TIME going to a Singles event. I actually had a great time at the event. I went to the Dave and Busters event and there were great people there. I met a few people and made new friends. I recommend that you go to an event with an open mind and don't think that you'll find a match. Go there and enjoy the company and things will happen naturally. Just BE YOURSELF and you'll have a fun time!

signed up for membership as it says doing so gets you access to events which are fine and I did enjoy, however it says become a member constantly and does not give me access to the events to sign up for them and loops me back to the become a member popup. With no way to actually sign up without paying more event fees.

I know this is taking from Facebook Dating but a cool feature to have on the app is a thing where on your profile says compliments where people that met at the live events compliment you. It makes more sense on here since I think this the only dating app that I know of do these live events.

The app doesn't seem to be optimized for a Pixel 6. Buttons are behind my phone notifications at the top of the screen making it impossible to select them unless I go into split screen mode.

So it's a great app, I love the concept, I haven't managed to meet anyone yet but the connections have been good. Problems with this app are it does not notify you of new messages from guys, which means it's hard to get to know someone sometimes, and it seems they've changed something that caused me to be unable to match with any guy who only admired a photo of me. I can't even get the conversation started because it won't let me match with them, even if I'm interested.

I went to my first jigsaw speed dating event, it was cool, but the environment was kind of loud due to the music being played over the intercom in the cafe, and the men I was talking to had to lean in to hear me. I haven't downloaded the app yet but I will soon.

Bad App with no ability to actually create a match. After paying, you only see about 12 people (and trust me, you don't want to) and it won't even let you make your own profile visible to others. It's a scam and there's no way to refund since it buys directly through the play store.

Unusable app. After liking two people there's a screen that doesn't let you do anything else until you pay for a subscription. After getting a subscription, all the profiles I look at go through this refresh thing in the UI. The refresh closes all dialogue boxes then puts you back at the top of the profile preventing you from making new likes. UPDATE: Dev team will be deploying a fix soon, thanks!

After going through the whole profile set up, I land on a page that says there are no matches in my area. I try to go to the preferences section to make sure it isn't too restrictive, and I'm suddenly taken to a page that says "Free doesn't work" and that I can't do anything else until I pay for a subscription. First, this should be made obvious before I spend all that time filling out a profile, secondly I'm not paying when I can't even check to see if there's anyone in my area. Waste of time.

The events are fine the app is buggy I got the membership thing and it says that It will let you know who liked you but there is not a seccion for that in the android app. The chats keep on breaking for the preview and if you send too many messages you can't see the older ones, it always hide the 11 oldest message and older. Also I don't know if you can read messages without paying or respond at all I guess I'll ask and update. If you go to an event just get contact info of the person then.

Not worth signing up for a membership. I think the concept is different and has potential but with it being a new app the price to join is unreasonable. There is not enough member interaction and area matches run out quickly. I've gone to one of the singles happy hours and the host was 45 minutes late to a 2 hour event and we were informed the host that arrived was not the original host.

Seems like a decent concept however there are a few basic features I'd like to see implemented. One being the ability to filter out certain people based on absolute deal breakers such as kids and/or political affiliation. It would also make sense to be able to "admire" or comment on an "About Me" section. 3+ pics should be required from everyone on here as well as a filled out bio/prompts. Otherwise the purpose of the app is gone.

I gave this app 2 stars because 1. The verification process was pretty simple and easy 2. Everything seems to be explained there's no guesswork. But this is where the app failed. 1 if you wanted to delete your account they give you no option 2. There is no option to select the age group that you would be interested in they selected for you 3. Same problem with choosing the location you have no option to select the location. Nice concept but these are the areas that need to be improved.

Sounds to me like they use these speed dating events to get people to install the app. Then if you bother to make a profile, they hit you with their absolutely absurd monthly subscription fee of 50$ if you want to even use the app. Then no option to delete your profile. Judging by the reviews, there is a large number of inactive accounts. Likely accounts of people who made the profile only to see the ridiculous subscription and deleted the app without being able to delete their account.

I paid $25 to attend a speed dating event. They require you to install the app to access your ticket. I met several nice people at the event. I assumed like every other speed dating event that there would be a chance to connect with mutual matches afterwards. But instead, they want me to pay another $25/mo to subscribe to the app, and there is no way to indicate interest to people at the event. They should have made this clear up front and at the event instead of scamming for app sign-ups.

Buyer beware! I made the mistake of buying a membership. At one of the events, the host left shortly after it started and most of the people there bailed within 30 minutes. They've also canceled all events in my city for the past 2 months. Their suggestion was that I traveled to another city, hundreds of miles away, to use a ticket. That is an absolutely unhinged response. Only got a refund after letting them know I was reversing the charge with my credit card company.

Main events they have in my area are Happy Hours. They had two mini golfs since December and one Dave and Buster's but that was canceled. Maybe they haven't thought that not everyone cares for a bar scene? Also, the gift cards cannot be used on a subscription. NEVER would've purchased one had it been displayed front and center. Really cannot recommend.

Maybe early to write this, as I just attended my first event here in the Orlando area. First off, location was everything for me. I only really became interested as it was being held at one of my favorite places here in Orlando, Primrose Lanes. I was hopeful, Upon arrival it was evident that the ratio of guys/gals was 90/10, The night was a little better later, but disappointing to have a pre-ticket cost. Met some nice friends, but no mate/quality matches.Hope they can up the game.
