The application makes it easy to send money to my husband and I can email him every day and don't have to wait around for the mail to come. I've had jpay for years and no problems so far. It's almost better than the phone I said almost and I say that because hearing his voice is so relaxing. Well I was happy with the application at first. I installed the update and I was able to sign in but, now I'm having some serious problems trying to sign in. The application just keeps spinning HELP ME!!!!!

Some days it takes hours for this app to start up. Lots of issues and good luck getting in touch with Customer service. I have had several problems with sending and receiving emails. I've gotten multiple emails from them saying something has been censored but when I try to find out what the problem was NO ONE RESPONDS FROM JPAY!! I don't believe that they actually have a Customer service department. Long story short, J PAY SUCKS!!!

Some messages are sent within the hour, others take weeks to be delivered. & It was one thing when an update stopped any notifications from coming through, but with the most recent update the app is sending me notifications when I haven't even gotten a new message!!! I woke up this morning and got all excited about an email from my loved one, opened the app and NOTHING!! SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT!!!

Can't update the app. Seeing others have been having this problem too. Why? Lets see. App downloaded over a million times. Get a little use out of app and then can't update or get email set up again. Now the money gets stuck in the account. For instance, I had $5 left on the account when I couldn't get back in. Now, $5 x 1,000,000= hmmm, you do the math. Not rocket science what's going on here.

update 2: they are completely useless. why would it take 24 hrs to send most emails? innocuous emails. unbelievable Monopoly and they take full advantage. Update: A lot of issues for a paid app. Freq forced log out, lots of error logs, very inconsistent processing of emails, sometimes a short letter with no pics attached either never arrives or takes days, even weeks before. Pics always take a while, none go thru on the weekends. It's 40 cents an email and pic, but sending money is very costly.

I've been using this app (unfortunately) for awhile now. At first it was great! Now, not so much. The past few months my email notifications have been delayed. I'll have a message but the email saying I have one won't come in for hours, sometimes days at a time. I haven't gotten an actual notification of a message from the app since sometime early/mid last year. The messages now are taking FOREVER to come thru. Now, it's not letting me send any pictures!!!!

Previously, this was great! No issues until the last several upgrades. Now, I'm constantly asked to upgrade, I'm constantly getting a red error due to connection issues , & it's lagging Way too long between screens or one section to the other. I don't have room to upgrade again without having to delete other aps. I will miss it, but I Never have problems with my ink pen & paper. A simple stamp actually still works as designed too.

I have been using this app for 6-7 years. I have never had issues until recently. A few times my messages get stuck in drafts after I made sure to hit send and then confirm. I also think it would be awesome to add a 'resend' feature on emails. A lot of times emails dont go through and there is no copy and paste. It would be even better if the incarcerated individual had that same 'resend' feature as well.

It seems to work when it wants to. I received an email a month after it was sent. Also seems to constantly be loading with the blue page that says "jpay", and the white circle just goes around and around. I have unistalled and reinstalled nothing changed it's still stuck on the loading page. Most of thr time I have to log on using the website. I downloaded the app to avoid that and to be able to navigate through the system faster and eaiser.

Update; bugs are NOT fixed, still CAN'T OPEN APP!! Ohh this app!! When I first downloaded it, it worked ok, not great but it did what I needed it to do. Now it doesn't work at all! When I click on the app to open it, it just stays on the loading page and NEVER moves past it, even waiting almost 30mins, extremely frustrating!! I now have to go to the web page which is not that mobile friendly! What is the point of having the app if it doesn't work, at all!!
