Great educational app. Started with my 2 year old. The content is advancing as he is learning more and is able to do more. I love how it teaches more than just letters/reading and math - it teaches about weather and feelings, and even more. We are able to incorporate things from the app into our discussions of every day life, which helps him make connections more easily. And no ads or paid stuff! Perfect for a little kid who likes to tap everything to see what happens!

Wonderful app! It's actually free, and just what I was looking for! The content is educational and entertaining, but not overly stimulating like most of the bright, noisy slot-machine like games available for kids. My daughter goes right to and enjoys playing the songs over and over. She's about 16 mo and does fine with the 2 year lowest age setting. Only complaint is I wish they would use a dragging motion to do things like put the hat on the bear, as clicking it is less fun and confuses her.

This is by far our favorite app for our two year old. She loves it and had learned so much from it. There are no problems with pop ups, ads, or "optional in game buying". She's learned all of her alphabet, most of her numbers (in order, no less!) and loves the songs. We have this app on every device we open and are so happy to support open education.

I love that this app is free. I wish that there were more features making it easier to use for a class, such as being able to move students from one class to the other, being able to assign multiple lessons at one time. It's great that there are more advanced phonics lessons.It would be helpful if the books had their lexical or guided reading level to make them eaiser to assign. Also - would be nice to have it available on windows devices.

Best learning app for children I've found!! My children love it! We love all the books! The kids love being able to choose content from the "library." The learning path is creatively designed. (: The kids love the "gifts"! (: I'm happy we can turn the music off - some apps don't let you mute the music, which can become distracting when trying to learn. The interface is very intuitive! The best part - it's free! My only wish would be for the learning path difficulty to be more customizable. (:

I love Khan Academy and their mission of free, quality education. As a frequent user of it over the years, I was excited, but hesitant to see their app for children. Most other education apps geared toward children are filled with ads or are limited/extremely basic unless you pay. Khan Academy contains none of that. It's filled with fun, interesting games that are age appropriate. My daughter loves the songs and activities. I like that you can select different levels based on their age, and it's easy enough for her to navigate (she's two, almost three) while my hands are busy doing her hair. Thank you, Khan Academy!

As much as I love Khan Academy and the lessons in the app, we're not really loving the app itself. I think it would improve the app a lot if there were more options to turn certain sounds off. The sound effects and voices are little repetitive and annoying. Also, every lesson in each section has the same intro and there isn't a way to skip it (that we've found). I think this app is great for younger kids, but I think it could use some improvements for kids older than five.

Not only is it thoughtfully created and structured, but it is free, AND there are NO adds! I could not ask for more! My daughter loves the learning games, and I love how they vary the teaching. For example, if she is learning the letter sound "a", it will have her work on a but also throw in other letters during the same game so she gets a variety and a well rounded review. I am very grateful for this!

Great, FREE app! A lot of learning apps claim they're free, but you usually have a ton of non kid friendly ads pop up. This app is ad free, and really, truly free! My 4 year old loves it! I use it as a fun learning app to add on to our "schooling" that I do with her. The characters are cute, the songs fun and educational, and she gets so happy when the mail truck comes and rewards her for her hard work. Amazing app!

I watched what my child was doing while playing. My child was curious and engaged with the counting, phonics, and beginning word games. I do not have a background i. Early childhood education and am trying to find educational opportunities at every turn. This plus pbs kids, teaching monster to read, and watching any cartoons/shows in Spanish audio work for us right now.
