My first review was a 1 out of 5 due to the login issue when we first got the app. But now that I'm in it, I pushed it up to a 3. The app works, but the chat is buggy. The chat freezes when you type more than 5 words and crush the entire app sometimes. Also, there are no settings yet. I'll also love to see an option to stream through the app for the people who play mobile games. I feel like that would help build the user base for Kick if they can stream directly through it itself, if possible

Everytime I try to log in it tells me to finish setting up the account. I enter in my username but it says it's taken so I enter in a completely new one, that works. On the next screen I have to accept the terms of service, when you select the button it shows a loading circle and then nothing happens. Please fix your app if you really want people to move to this platform. How are people expected to check it out if they can't even get past the log in screen.

I can't even use the app. I get a message saying: "To finish setting up your account, please choose a username and enter a birthday." I already made my account, so when I put the Info in, it knows that's already a taken name. I literally cannot use it. There's no other buttons on the screen just 2 boxes to type in and a save option. Please fix

For anyone having issues during account creation on the mobile app, make sure the first letter of your email address is *NOT* capitalized, as it causes an error. I had to contact support for this info, but hopefully it's not a problem for much longer. The app is a little buggy and does not yet have full functionality, but that should be better with time.

Watching live streams is usually OK, but the VODs are horrible. It never saves your place (in app or in browser, mobile & PC) and if you close the app to do anything, like turn off an alarm or answer a text or call, it closes the video player without saving your spot. This would be a little more bearable if VODs could be play picture in picture like streams can, but for some reason, they can't

Edited: Apparently the actual problem is you can't sign up with an email containing a period, which is far less stupid than what I thought the problem was, but that's still pretty bad seeing as having a period in an email isn't all that uncommon and I've never come across this issue before. Also the app wouldn't let me set my birthdate because it kept gltiching out.

The app is garbage. It logs me completely out of my account every single time I close the app. I don't use my Google account and I'm not interested in doing that, because that's a personal account. That might have something to do with it, but there's no reason to log me out every single time I close the app. I use long complicated passwords, otherwise my accounts get compromised, so I have to write that down. Constantly looking up my password and verifying the login is too much of a pain.

Apps junky and really just functions at a basic level. Can't follow other users. Get an error message to wait several mins. Had trouble with signing up and registering an email, as the form wouldn't let me submit, despite being filled out. Ended up just using Google credentials to create an account (which I loath). Can't update profile or add secondary email address, etc.

The app will not allow me to register for an account nor will it let me log into an account. The website is not working at all, either -- the app and the website both show error messages, and the app shows rows of code when trying to sign in as an error message. Not sure what is going on, but this needs to be fixed a.s.a.p. Edit: Now that I am able to finally log in again, there is no way to edit or change my profile. I cannot change my photo, background, or add a bio. Settings are inaccessible.

I would rate this much higher but for now it's still kinda broke. You may know of these issues, but I don't know what you know. So, that said, here are my issues. ANDROID: 1: Auto rotate is broken. Screen flips but will not flip back without closing/reopen app. Also, lose tools/boxes. 2: Typing in chat, then not for a bit, keeps us from being able to type again. It's almost like it's loading the option to type. 3: When in a channel, the back button exits stream. Should minimize instead. 💚💚💚

I can't log in through the app. I tried with my email and my username. I get a message stating, "Failed to fetch". Reset Password from within the app is also broken. But I have no problem logging in through the website. Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled the app. All the same issues as previously stated. I'm guessing that the developer has dropped the ball on this endeavor and are abandoning it altogether, at this rate. Sad day. ☹️

I don't have settings, so I can't change my username, bio, profile picture, banner, or update my social media links. Which really sucks because I want to follow people & possibly stream as well without having to use a different email to sign up with in order to have a different username, profile picture, etc. Also when I try to add an underscore to my name for a different account, it doesn't allow me. Those are my only issues with Kick, but it's a huge one because it makes the app uninteresting

It was working great, but they broke it with a recent update. The picture-in-picture feature is gone, it takes forever to load, and the back button doesn't work. When I go to Followed streams, it only shows the ones that are currently live. The ones not currently streaming don't show up anywhere. I can't imagine why they would release their program with so many things broken that had been working fine.

The app had problems before. I was hopeful the latest update would fix it, but it's gotten worse. The video auto-switches between portrait and landscape if I turn my phone, even when I have autorotate turned off. My place in a VOD is no longer saved, so every time I go back to a long video, I have to find where I left off. Also, a few times, it's made me sign in again even though I never signed out.

Doesn't work. 3 devices, 2 of which are brand new, same issue. Fresh install. Physically incapable of clicking log in and sign up, nothing happens when clicked. If you click it as many times as you can as fast as you can, it might pop up- and fail to log you in when typed out. Close out the login menu. It pops up again. Why? Because you had to click it as many times as you can to get it to pop up, so good luck closing out the 5000 login pop-ups one after another. Just close the whole app.

Terrible App in the past month. No amount of uninstalling and reinstalling this App makes it work anymore. It will stay on for about two to five minutes then crash. Restarting it gets another five minutes then another crash. So many people on Discord are complaining about the same issues but resetting the App isn't working anymore. Just use the website. This App has constantly been a pain, in one way or the other, ever since it was first made.

Everytime I close the app and open it back up, it makes me re-sign in, which means I have to get a code from my email. Doesn't matter if it's 2 minutes or a day. Chat constantly freezes. Streams freeze often. The picture quality is nice. There is no place in the app I see to report technical bugs, which is dumb. On top of that, it eats battery like crazy. Makes the phone hot, worse than if I were playing a graphics intensive game. Switching from portrait to landscape is a total mess

Needs UI work & Bug Fix. If you're watching someone's stream with screen off, it will play some random stream over the one you're watching—I found out that it's from the main page. It plays those while you're in someone else's stream; you have to mute them, and it still plays them because it lags the whole app. Want to back up 30-10 seconds? Okay but only for a couple seconds and then it goes back to LIVE buffering constantly. I had less buffering issues on YouTube vids in the 2000s.

Straight up garbage. Recently did an update and it's worse than before. Doesn't hold your spot, closes randomly, functions work less than half the time, the entire app and website freeze mid-stream, signs me out all the time, and is a general nightmare. If it wasn't for a couple channels on here exclusively, I would've dumped this trashfire. That being said, if you would fix these basic issues, I wouldn't have a problem.

App is so unstable now using my galaxy and Moto g stylus. Not sure when but update prior to this one is making app crash constantly after less than 5 minutes of running. I got sick of reopening all the time so I have stopped using until you fix it. Also like another review mentioned it will not shutdown I have to do a forced close anytime I am not using or it will drain my battery! Since my last review it worked fine....until now. Don't know what you guys did but it's ruined...
