Reviews for Kikoff - Build Credit Quickly

I saw that KikOff had a lot of users with a lot of great feedback. So I signed up. After signing up and giving them my email and creating a password, that was it. The next page asked you for your Name, Middle name, and Last name. I can't type no more then 2 letters in each box. Something is wrong with this apps sign up process. Because of that, they are getting a 1 star review. If it gets fixed and I am actually able to sign up and use KikOff, I would be inclined to update my review.

So far, my credit score went up twice to a 720 and within 1 week dropped to 121 pts. I've paid off all my cc's and the only thing that happened between that time was my bank card expiring, and I literally couldn't get into the app when trying to update it. Now, when trying to log in and pay off my account it keeps asking me to update the app. It hasn't allowed me to. I've been trying to contact someone regarding this issue but it hasn't been easy. Can help please be easier ?

2 stars because it lets you dispute things on your credit, and can help bump your credit up a few points, however, I pay for the premium version. So I can view all 3 of my scores. They're all over 650 on the kickoff app, but unfortunately when talking to finance people about purchasing a new vehicle or a home, my credit score on their end comes up as significantly less. This app might help a bit, but very misleading, and the changes take months to years to take place.

I just encourage anyone who believes that their credit score has actually raised at all to just go to Experian, Equifax, ect. to see if it is reflected there when this site says it has . I have raised my score significantly only to find out after paying for this so called "loan " that the score is not the credit score that banks and finance company's use. It's something different. It's your Andvantage 3.0 Score, which I have yet to find anyone who uses it in reference to credit score

Since this is a credit "credit building" app. Why not add a feature that if the payment doesn't go through, it cancels the subscription? I was in the hospital for 4 months, and since I didn't notice the payments weren't being paid, all of the progress I made this year has gone down the drain. If you can't make the payments, they'll keep billing and billing. then, once you've built up enough debt, they charge it off and report it to your credit.

Kikoff has been a fantastic app for me. I had bad credit for a while thanks to some poor life choices as a young adult, but I've since bounced back thanks in no small part to kikoff. the credit builder card and credit building loans are incredible. can't recommend enough! only thing I would like to see is a debit card attached to the account as well so that I can use the money in my account to pay for things and link accounts that don't allow credit cards.

Great app, works as advertised and extremely easy to use. I have only been subscribed for about 5 months and starting with almost no credit. For only $20/month (I believe the cheapest option), it has raised my credit score from very low 500s to Mid/Hi 700s with very little effort on my part. I'm quite cautious with financial apps and did a lot of research before signing up. You should also research if a subscription is a possibility in your future. 5/5*

Overall the service is great, but recently the app just disappeared from my phone with absolutely no way to access it, even though when I check the app store it tells me it's still installed. Can't make heads or tails of it, and it's a real pain to sign in online every time, I really liked that the app had a pin feature which the site doesn't have.

my credit score has gone from a 514 to 533/558 on two different credit lines in 30 days. I'm beyond grateful. When you give a little, you get a little. I plan on upgrading my subscriptions. Just don't default and if you have a problem call them but don't keep missing payments and don't do it if you are not fully motivated. You are in charge of Your own future.

Don't use this company, if you close your account, they won't automatically send your savings deposit back to your account. I had my account closed for a nearly a year & had $120.00 in savings built up in it, I found out by a email reminding me not to let my savings go to waste, first I went to withdraw it & the page errored, I had to contact support tried to tell me it was a mistake on their part in the email & I only had $20 dollars, my account was open for 3 years so that doesn't seem likely.

after shelling out hundreds on this app my credit score is about the same as when I started... it's not like I missed any payments or significantly increased my debt, it's just that this app did absolutely nothing. My credit profile is the same. Don't waste your money, I'll give it one more month but then will cut my losses and hope this post allows somebody else to avoid my mistake in choosing this app...

I started with the Kikoff-Credit Builder App 2 years ago with a low credit score and not-so-good credit. I could not rent an apartment with the credit score I had even tho I could afford the apt. I couldn't get it. Now I a. able to rent anything because my credit score is over 700 and still rising. If you have a poor score this is the app I would definitely recommend using. It's fast and accurate and above all else very affordable.

I cannot pay my past due amount, because every time I try to edit my payment method, the app slows down to a crawl. It takes a whole 15 seconds to input a letter. And to top it all, it crashes when I confirm my payment method. I have a RedMagic 10 Pro with the latest and most powerful processor, it should not be having this issue at all. It didn't before the app was updated. I am scared that a bad mark will go towards my credit, because of this.

I signed up for the highest level membership. I've been using Kickoff for about 4 months now. Kickoff claims my credit score increased, but when I checked with the 3 credit companies, my credit hasn't actually changed. You're better off just putting money into a savings account or secured credit card. The only positive thing I can say is Kickoff helped inspire me to understand credit more. The USA credit system is really a stupid idea.

I must say that I haven't tried the other credit builder apps but this one truly works. since June my credit score has gone up 130 points. for some reason I can't access the credit builder....wish I could figure that out. Also I was able to instantly dispute an item on my account and get it removed. I make my payments on time for my $3500 credit line and my secured credit card which acts as a debit card. hope this helps someone

This app is trash. If you try to cancel, they tell you that you owe the remaining balance on your account, when they didn't even loan you any money or provide any actual service in the first place. They also Auto draft their fees (which in my case overdrafts my account, costing me $34 every freaking time) take my advice, keep moving don't let them trap you like they have me

So far So good! I was skeptical with all the scattered reviews but if your credit needs the amount of work mine does, this program will help you remove things with ease and bump you surely upwards while you save the money you pay into it, as long as you follow the steps and keep on top of the payments, they do exactly what they say. If you have good credit already I dunno if it helps but for those of us that let it go too long, it's perfect!

This app is fraud. Yes, it helps with your credit a little not much. They don't send none of your money back after your year is up. They will automatically continue taking from your account. And when you call to complain, they offer you all type of other things when I just want to cancel, make sure you call to cancel. When your year's up or they would not refund anything.NOT A GOOD APP

nothing really works. I can't ever get any statements to upload or bank account to connect, or really anything to connect. just about anytime I try to do something with kickoff, it fails, I try over and over until I get so frustrated I give up. it does bill me extremely consistently, but 8 months in, I don't really see an impact on my credit score yet. so far I haven't been able to use most of the other paid features, because nothing ever works.

It worked great when I first tried it, but then they locked me out of my account. When I try to login with my phone number, the only option it gives me, it says it is registered to another user and to try again. I only have one number and it's on my account with them. Now they are reporting on my credit. An app that was supposed to help me repair my credit is actually making it worse. DON'T USE THIS APP IF YOU ACTUALLY HOPE TO RAISE YOUR CREDIT SCORE!!!
