App is very good. There is only one ad each time you open the app, which is quite acceptable, but the ad that I get shows fake alerts about viruses. Every one of them. Why is that?
Has an easy interface to search for scriptures and a bookmark feature. Also gives a "Verse of the Day". Overall, Very handy
Great way to read both the old and new testament and keep track of the pages, highlight verses, take notes, etc. Can also read offine, literally read two parts on a plane in airplane mode.
The app itself is exactly what I wanted and allows you to track what you've read but the ads are obnoxious and some of them are games about shooting people or sexually attractive wait loss commercials and you can't skip them when all you want is to read the word of god.
Excellent app but it forces a person to view ads without an obvious way to skip the ads. For a Bible app to do this in my opinion is very wrong. if not for that this app would get 5 stars. Make the ads smaller and/or provide a clear way to skip the ads. Horrible the way it is now.
This app is amazing. It has everything you need. The Word, highlighting abilities, ways to copy, save or take notes about certain passages, the word passage of the day that is always right on time. You can either independently read or follow the suggested reading verses. It's the best bible app I've ever seen.
Widget for the daily Bible verse never auto refreshes. Even after tapping it, I still have to go to the menu and select "Daily Verse". No auto refresh. What is the point of the Widget then? I just want a daily verse without having to open the app. UI is not good. After opening app, you have to go to the Bible just to get to the Settings menu. You cannot access it from the Daily Verse page. Not ad free like older reviews claim. I get tiktok ads every time I open the app. Tiktok?!?! Uninstalling.
EDIT they do have an option to remove them! thanks for getting back to me. I love the style of this app and am excited to continue to use it!! too many ads. I would be happy to pay to remove them but that doesn't seem an option. the app is set up nicely but with the ads I find my reading is always interrupted.
I love this app. I don't mind the ads at all. The app is free and the ads are very short. I play a lot of games on my phone and I've challenged myself to at least 5 pages of the Bible before any games and before bed. Onto Exodus after only a couple of days and thoroughly enjoy it. The keeping track of where I am is great and also the layout. I think my only issue would be like someone else mentioned, high lighting verses or storing verses. It's not major, would be a great bonus.
Absolutely incredible app. All I wanted was a simple Bible reading app with the KJV and that's exactly what this is. Simple lay out, nice ability to change font, color, etc. No fuss or extra "features," just the text, highlight/bookmark, keep notes. Also runs very smoothly. The only way this app could improve is if it had audio someday.
