Don't waste your money. I downloaded it, was trying to load all my data, and had limitations. So I decided to try premium. Well, after dropping $12, I don't see any added features, it's still restrictive as to describing products, then it locked up my whole phone when I tried to scan barcodes. I deleted it. I'd like my money back.

I have been downloading almost every application to find a good grocery list app that I like. although I don't love this application, I feel that this is one of the better ones. I just want simple with more suggestion items for my list. The recipes in here are not appealing, they need work there; add more recipes. It is a good start for the app. Would love to find an app that makes my list with many icons..but after I add the item to my list, the application also would search for coupons

Using the free part, you're only able to have 12 items per category; regardless if you put in an expiration date or not. It's nice that you can create new items, but you have to associate them with general items already in their lists in order to get recipes. I started with canned goods, and most bean types were not listed. I stopped there and uninstalled. It could be a good app eventually, but needs some work. At this point, I'm not willing to pay.

Cool idea, but terribly limited. Many UPC come up with the wrong info or no info at all, requiring the user to manually input data and pics. The shopping list is clunky, with annoyances like deleting items that you don't purchase on a single trip. I wish I hadn't subscribed so quickly. Keep continues to be a better solution for me.

I love that I can add the photos to the items and the look and view of everything. One major flaw is I can not edit the name or add a quantity. I saved the product quickly figuring I could edit the title later and it won't allow me to do it. Please add that feature. This would get a 5 star from if it had those two major feautures because it works for what I need.

Positives: lets you track whats in your pantry/fridge & create recipes based on what you have and allows you to create shopping lists based on what you dont. Helps you calculate how many calories a day and helps you pick recipes based on that too. Negatives & this is a big one: NOT americanized. most recipes are under metric measurements (which I could of put up with) but the pantry photos & recipes are for items not even available in my country vs generic choices. And no way to substitute.

This is an awesome app. You pick recipes to cook for the week, it puts the ingredients on a list for you, you mark off what you already have and it has in app links to Walmart grocery, Kroger, instacart, etc. It not only takes you to the site but imports your list as well and looks up each item, which you can check off and purchase. Awesome!

The app is decent but : It doesn't tell you how many of the 100 free scans you got left. The nutritional assessment is mostly incorrect I cant add expiration date of 31 dec 2025, it always set for 2026. It should enable you to switch storage as some are just incorrect That said , is a good app overall, but needs some polishing for me to decide to buy it at least. The scan feature is perfect, quick and reliable, the database of products is very good!

Works great. It's helping us get track of what we have in our freezer. I upgraded lasy month so I can additional storage spaces so I can keep track of what is where. And I am able to share my inventory with my household! I have 1 minor complaint - It is SLOW. Slow when creating a new item, slow during item search. But most frustrating is it's slow on the initial load. I have a lot of stuff logged, so I'd be tempted to blame this, but this load has been slow from day 1.

One of the better kitchen keepers I've tried so far. It would be amazing if I could do a batch import of my foods, similar to how the app is set up to do a batch export. Sometimes the app runs a little slow when trying to get everything catalogued, which makes it a little tedious. Additionally, not all of the recipes that I find in the app can successfully be added to the meal planner, which is frustrating.

It's a no for me. The features sound and look great. I tried to create a list and added about 10 things to the list just for only 4 of them to show. I tried going out of the app and back in to see if they would appear but nothing. I tried to re-add the items to the list, but that dint work either. It stopped being able to recognize basic items like broccoli and would say that I needed to create the item. I created it and it still would not add to the list. Not the app for me

I was debating between this and another app. but after trying to add items, KP made it quicker and easier. just a couple taps and less typing. Would be nice if I could go back to recently scanned items by tapping them below the scanner but that's just more convenient than an issue. Thanks for helping me clean out my kitchen!

I am glad to have found this app! I tried to manage my fridge/freezers with whiteboards, but it quickly became unsustainable with the amount of time it took to update and reorganize after shopping. KitchenPal not only solves this issue, but it also adds other features such as remote access (checking inventory while at the store), sharing between family members, shopping lists, recipes from your ingredients, and so many more. I am so happy to have become a lifetime member.

The app is great and does what it claims to do, and quite a bit more. The organizational boost of having my entire inventory available at all times is wonderful. Also important to mention is that they provide amazing support. I am absolutely content with my purchase of the lifetime family subscription. Definitely would recommend. The only real critiques I have are that the shopping could be streamlined a bit, and I would love to be able to restrict recipes by calories. By the way - not a bot. 😁

I would love to subscribe to this app, and it was between this app and another yet this one seemed easier to input items. Except when your inputting an item in manually, it seems cumbersome. also, wish they had a drop down menu for the stores you frequently visit rather than me having to input the store each time and a purchase date. Both those features and an easier way when inputting manually would have me sold on this app.

I love you developer. This is so ADHD friendly. To have a calendar, able to VISUALLY see the list with photos, quantity, and saving what I already have in my pantry?! With expiration dates?! Amazing. Searching food isn't as accurate sometimes. For example, if I type potatoes, everything else related to potato appears except just potatoes & I have to restart. It can be a little slow too. Hopefully more use it and the search will learn/advance. Love. I will invest.

They must be using AI, because every feature in very dumb. scanned items have pictures of completely different products, the categories are nonsensical, and the recipe suggestions are useless. I didn't have any strawberries, and only canned corn, but all it would suggest for me is various fresh strawberry and corn ON the cob recipes, pretty much ignoring all the other, more appropriate ingredients. Very busted, probably just a data scrapping scam.

easy to add items to the pantry but sometimes glitches and adds it multiple times and when you delete the extra one it deletes both. sometimes glitches when trying to move items from one location to another. the recipe option has no understanding of the ingredients. example: rice cakes cannot be used as rice or egg drop soup as eggs. so I don't even bother with trying to use that function, which I would really like to utilize.

The barcode scanner is phenomenal and enters about 95% of the things I try, even generics and store brands. The expiration date feature is awesome, especially for things like milk. But the idea that I can't just save my own recipes (and I shouldn't have to publish them) is awful. And when I tell it "give me drink recipes with only these 5 ingredients" it gives me everything from quinoia to cheesecake to pancakes. Either I'm too dumb to use the app, or it doesn't do what I need.

It's gone from a 4 to a 1, and that's being gracious. It appears they are trying to move forward with a new way to categorize items, but it's completely unusable. Items were stripped of the category that I placed them in and now are "uncategorized". Others have no category ability at all. So everything is all in one pile making it incredibly difficult to use. I shouldn't have to recategorize bc of update. This should allow multiple categories per item, like frozen & cheese. Very disappointed.
