I’ve been using knitCompanion for a couple months now. It’s basically a pattern tracking app for knitters and fiber artists. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kind of thing.
Here’s what you can do – there’s tools to easily track your rows and progress, plus counters and timers for each project. And it’s got a nice interface for adding PDFs and kCDesigns too. And one of my favorite features is the ability to scribble on your patterns – super handy for marking up instructions.
Look, if you’re a knitter who’s tired of keeping track of everything in your head, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the setup process can be a little confusing at first – but overall it does the job pretty well. Worth checking out if you want to streamline your knitting projects.

So here's my take on knitCompanion. I've tested a bunch of knitting apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The key tracking tools are really well done and make it easy to stay on top of your projects. And i also appreciate the flexibility to use it with any pattern, not just ones from their store. The main downside is the learning curve - it took me a while to figure out all the features. But once you get the hang of it, it's a pretty powerful tool for knitters.
