I’ve been using the KPTV FOX 12 Oregon app for a couple months now. Basically, it’s a news app that gives you the latest headlines, weather forecasts, and live broadcasts from the local FOX affiliate in Portland. Pretty solid if you’re into keeping up with what’s happening in your area.
There’s a bunch of features packed in – you can watch live newscasts, check the interactive radar, and even get alerts for things like school closures and severe weather. It’s got a nice clean design that makes it easy to navigate. Took me a little while to figure out some of the more advanced stuff like pausing on your phone and resuming on your TV, but it works pretty well once you get the hang of it.
Look, if you want a reliable way to stay informed on local news and weather in Oregon, this app is worth checking out. It’s not perfect – the ads can get a little annoying at times – but overall it does the job and I’d recommend giving it a try.
