this is literally false advertisement, seriously... no hyperbole. so with this purchase you gain accesd to a number of cool, Extremely useful features not found in other similar tools. the issue is, they do NOT work as intended... if at all. the current state of "Layla ai" DOES NOT ACTUALLY INTERACT with features like "roleplay" and "lorebooks". you cannot provide documents to layla, layla cannot read documents. seriously. again, not an exaggeration... literally false advertisement.

Worst Ai assistant ever spent the entire time telling me I'm emotional and need to seek therapy that it's here to help call you crazy and unable cope with my emotions do to,life experiences and when I didn't let it finish it would it would end that chat and completely close the app out. Prior to that it couldn't even launch the chat or not babble on. FYI I have a motorola thinkphonel 8gb 12gb if optimized, I would like a refund for wasted time trying make it work. I'll stick with copilot

Absolutely love it! Smooth, intuitive, and exactly what I needed. This is absolutely priceless to me now, worth every single cent!

This is probably the coolest app I have ever purchased. I have never played with any local AI models before and it took a little Googling to get right. The first several days of having the app, I ran all the models locally on the phone and most of them were pretty fast. Just today, as of this review, however, I have LM Studio running on my PC and I'm using the Layla OpenAI plugin to connect to that for more horsepower. It works great!

"No subscriptions" got me to buy the app, and quickly found it's blatant false advertising - offering a subscription to 'Layla Cloud' with the same pricing scheme as many others in the hoarde of greed. Unsure if/how much is limited. At the risk of throwing cash away, decided the concept has too much potential to get a refund. Time will tell if it lives up to the parts of the promise that are not already broken.

a few safety issues need to be worked out but the potential for this app is absolutely fantastic!

If you can't afford the 29.99 a month subscription, then don't subscribe. Only Blue Morpho, their most expensive subscription, is supported in Layla Cloud. The only benefit to subscribing is access to Layla Cloud. Anything other than Blue Morpho is theft.

Anyone who is writing anything about this app in a negative way, literally doesn't know what they're doing. If you want to basically run LM-Studio locally on your phone, then THIS is the app for you! I work in Ai and I've been telling all of my colleagues and friends to pick up Layla, and we've all been blown away with it. Frequent updates and can do it all for local Ai on your phone. I'm an immense fan of Layla and I wish it nothing but the best, if you like running Ai locally, you'll love this

Slow, requires a subscription for cloud features. If you don't have a very recent SOC and you don't want to pay $30/month for the cloud subscription, you don't get access to good models.

this is a very easy and versatile AI app no issues so far.

Overall, it's a good start towards offline AI usage. However, there is significant room for improvement. The hands-free version is still missing, which is a major drawback. It doesn't make sense to have to push a button to use voice call functionality, as this requires holding the smartphone continuously and drains the battery quickly. A hands-free version, similar to what character.ai offers, would provide a more practical experience. If not used for around 4 hours, it "asks" to be reloaded..!?

it works... I guess. But if you want to download non-android devices you can't because you need a code, which you can only get if you download DIRECTLY from layla AI. chatbots are very slow, and apparently I need a subscription? even after I bought it?

One of the better offline Ai bot ( it actually works) , there is a lot of choices to customise as you want. Can add todo list, calendar and notes, there is also a lite version. If your phone is low on specs, you may get away with 6 gigabytes of RAM, but you will need a pretty good processor. Brought the full version and well worth the expenditure.

All image and language models still fail to download on my Android and others devices and have been for ~7 months now. The app is as simple to use as Gentoo in that it is not. Don't waste $10 like me only to be stuck with just being able to post a bad review even after contacting the developer directly on Discord and getting no solution or plan of one.

It keeps crashing when I try to import my chat history. the app also keeps logging me out of the credentials

add ons don't really work the ai chess is slow af the dreams add on has only ever worked once for me the app says it can function as ai assistant like Google but doesn't integrate like it says, crashes alot when loading last chat from log

Layla premium is great before but now the Stable Diffusion App and the image generation on chat is not working and auto exit on snapdragon. Thankfully their costumer support on Discord is responsive on questions and inquiry and they help me fix the my concern. Thank you very much.

Thank you for fixing it. whatever you did it works again. Like I said I will change rating to what you deserve. 5 stars. Rock on (it has stopped functioning. Fix please, and I will change my rating. it worked fine, and now it just crashes when loading the character model. Your last update must have messed it up? anyways I paid full price, fix it, please, and thank you) edit:I am trying to re-download it goes to 99 or 100 percent but is never allowing me to use offline. I deleted and re-downloadd

The app doesn't seem to work as advertised. They advertise a personal assistant that can manage your schedule and to-do list. I've downloaded the mini-apps to support the functionality and it still doesn't work. It won't add reminders or to-do items to the built in mini-apps or the calendar. It is also unable to send notifications outside the usual chat window, which makes it pretty useless as an assistant. I'm on an S25, and the offline functionality works pretty well with the largest model.

The app consistently has a bad UI, like it's designed for iOS even though this is an Android Pixel 9 Pro XL. With three-button mode enabled, the app places its buttons underneath the system UI, making them inaccessible, like the top right button on the app's main menu, or the character conversation text input box being under the system's three-buttons on the bottom of the screen. It also darkens the character's wallpaper in conversations but not at the top where it isn't aligned properly.
