So here's my honest take on Leaf Spy Pro. I've tested a bunch of car apps and this one's pretty solid. The data it gives you is really detailed and in-depth, way more than the Leaf's built-in displays. I like that you can track efficiency and stuff. The downsides are that it can be tricky to get the Bluetooth working sometimes, and the interface isn't the most user-friendly. But if you don't mind a little tinkering, it's a great tool for Leaf owners.

Description

Been using Leaf Spy Pro for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you monitor your Nissan Leaf’s battery and other vehicle info – stuff you normally can only see at the dealer. Pretty solid app if you’re into that kinda thing.

Here’s what you do: you connect your phone to your Leaf using a Bluetooth adapter, and then the app shows you all sorts of cool data. There’s also a nifty feature that tracks your driving efficiency, which is pretty cool. And the app has a help file you can download if you get stuck on anything.

Look, if you’re a Leaf owner who likes geeking out over your car’s stats, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the Bluetooth connection can be finicky sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you want more control over your EV.

Love this app BUT the latest Android update looks to have killed it with my OBDII running Wifi. It asks for the connection. Says connected, and then it goes back...

The app gives useful information about the battery health etc and also has value in being able to clear DTC codes. I had a parking brake problem that I fixed...
