Really unreliable information. Especially when looking for something in particular. Not updated nearly enough to be accurate. Waste of space on my phone, as it does not give correct info. You can order online, then show up at dispensary, and they have none of your strain. I drive 20 miles one way to dispensary. Leafly is a waste.
Reviews for Leafly: Find Cannabis and CBD
← Back to Leafly: Find Cannabis and CBDNew update threw the menu off, and you can't see if it's even being updated for the dispensary you are viewing. I get updates for security reasons, but why change the interface when it was working good? The product lists were organized before, looks like the individual dispensaries are going to have to edit their menus again. Good job dorks!
I don't particularly dislike the new look and does have interesting tidbits, but when I am going through a migraine and I need to find a location with a particular strain that helps, I can't do that anymore. The first location is 900 miles away but if I scroll to the 5th one, that is 70 miles away. At least put some "sort" so that the closest locations come first. Or if you are in the specific strain, to have the location in there as well. I will no longer use the app until this can be fixed.
The app was working great. Now it keeps telling me, "No results found. Unfortunately, we couldn't find any products to match your search or filters" from places I have ordered from before. All I did was click on the store name. I didn't enter anything into the filters. UPDATE! Logging out and back in did not fix the issue. I'm an android user and I sign in by google. Tru Source is not showing up like it should.
I totally love Leafly! I agree the ability to save our favorites at each location we use would be amazing. CBD THC percentages are missing on to many items. Very frustration and many strains have no information whatsoever. Number one for pain? I do not know because there is no information. Makes it impossible to order for pick up when you want to try new stains.
This app is so close to being perfect that it's frustrating. The software functions well, but they need to add a "favorite strains" and "Strains I want to try" function. It would be nice if it allowed me to set preferred dispensaries and prioritize information about those locations on the home screen, as well as notifying me when my favorite strains are in stock at preferred dispensaries. It would also be nice if I could set a preferred product type and filter menus by that type by default. It would also be nice if, when viewing strains on a menu I could tap that strain and see strain info/reviews. I also wish I could look up brand names and see what strain they actually are, but I know this isn't entirely up to Leafly to do.
Seriously? I mean what is the point of making a whole separate application if you are just going to force open my browser for every single thing? And it gets better; I want to continue shopping? Go back to the app. Want to add to your cart? Let's open as many tabs as you have items to purchase! Want to check out? Then waste your time logging in twice. Purchased complete and need confirmation? Let's slow down your phone with another browser window! Seriously. This app is literally useless.
Whoever approved the new redesign wasn't smoking a very good strain. I used to use this app as a way to find out more about different strains. It was easy and simple to use. Now, there's no more straightforward icons for each strain, you have to hunt through the page text to find any information, and simple colour coded icons and effect bars get replaced with complicated "flowers" that half the time are incomplete. Sad to see such a good app go like this, guess I've gotta find something else.
***Update: filtering by dispensary distance still sucks!! 03/2022 I would give it 5 star however the filtering on it needs some serious work. It doesn't give you all locations that fit the filter. Only locations closest to you. I've even switched the location to broaden the search, and got worse results. I have to use the web version in order to get the results that I want, or call by phone. Plus when you do get results it doesn't list them closet first.
It was a 5 star before the update. I understand the wanting it to be more "specialised", but not when it comes at the expense of simplicity. Add a bar graph, add a chart, add another page or 2, but don't implore your own convoluted icon, color, and description system. I won't be using this app like I used to to find out about strains anymore, just for ordering, unless you have some ideas about that too.
NOT A FAN! Where is the filter feature that allows you to just look up flower or pre-rolls or edibles, etc? Then when you click on an item then go back, it takes you all the way to the top of the list i had switched from Weedmaps to Leafly to make online orders......now I'll be going back to Weedmaps. The new platfprms is just a pain to navigate & takes up more time than I care to give it.
Is there anyway, you van make, app more.user friendly ? I haven't used it in.years and it's just as difficult to navigate, just as it was 5 years ago !! All I want to do is look up high grade and see where I can buy it . It doesn't have to be that difficult, or even show the deals on the products you would like ,seems like there is no way to search for specifics on here !!
Like others have said, the way this app is organized makes it useless. It tells me there are no medical dispensaries near me even though there are like 5 within 50 miles. When I do find a dispensary, it shows the company name, below the strain name, but STILL puts the company name FIRST, in the strain name. So I have to CLICK each strain to see what it even is, then go back, making it useless for browsing. There are better apps that do the same thing.
I do not like the new update. It's now difficult to search and located different strains. It pulls up places that "have" the strain and the majority of then shops dont have it. I like how in the old version the information and medical uses were at the top now I have to scroll and the information no longer stands out. It's more difficult to map where places are located. This was my go to app but not any longer.
Absolutely love this app! One feature I'd LOVE to see is while looking at the product you'd like to purchase is somehow be able to see which terpenes are dominant. Leafly may have the info provided for which strain is in the cartridge but not every batch will contain what that strain originally started with. It may end up being completely different since everything is a hybrid. Their needs to be under "filters" a terpenes selection to find which terpenes are in the product
Update: It's only just getting worse. Every time I use this there are issues. It has a whole selection of dispensaries that "deliver" but...when I called they don't deliver. It shows deals and sales they're having with dates in 2021. And then I call the store and its gone Honestly, if this wasn't the most used app for my dispensaries, I wouldn't use this. It's hard to navigate, hard to find deals, doesn't display the right info on what's in stock, and I always have issues with click responses.
It would be a better app if it worked consistently. But, it frequently fails to load pages, particularly in the strain database, which should be the least active data on the system and, potentially, cacheable to improve user experience. These days, there is no excuse for an "unable to load page, retry" error (even if you fail a load, you can program better responses than the canned ones).
I love leafly. I love browsing the strains and learning from the articles. but the app doesn't really do what it is supposed to yet. it's hard to find strains based on geography, even when I know for a fact that a strain is available and I just want to price compare. it's even harder to find the right deals. and menus and pricing and percentages are often inaccurate. it's not perfect, but it is a great service! keep up the good work!
L 💚 V E this app! Makes sifting through shop menus to find the most useful strains for my symptoms SO much easier and quicker. Info provided about strains is typically very accurate to results. Really useful to me that they list dominant terpenes. Also, being able to read reviews from other CPPs is very helpful to me. The strains library is vast (will probably have strains you're looking up 8-9/10 times) and they update frequently. They offer a lot of articles w/ useful/interesting info too.
I guess it's a decent app if you don't try to login and personalize anything. when I attempted to login, it sent me to a webpage, I enter my credentials, it sends me back to the app, but I'm not logged in. and the loop just happens endlessly, opening a new instance of the app each time. pretty amateur hour, and not sure why this app even exists if you'd rather just keep me on the website, which actually works.
