Reviews for Learn Languages - Lucida AI

← Back to Learn Languages - Lucida AI

worst AI conversation app ever, I tried using it for German. It acted like I was saying something completely different. I will tell and want to tell everyone to stop using this app.

if you want to unsubscribe the trial, go to Google Play to cancel it. You should receive an email that informs you of when to deduct the fee. *update* I really wanted to continue this app, so I subscribed to the 1 year plan. Good so far and enjoy talking with Lucy!

I was excited to see that the Lucida app aligns progress with the CEFR scale, which is very helpful. I was saddened to learn that the app only offers two languages currently: English and German. I will try to circle back when more languages are added.

Now, the speech recognition is so bad while previously it was ok. it shows russian alphabets while it is supposed to convert speech into text in English

no free trial, wastes your time "configuring" the app then asks for money without letting you use the app. claims you can go from b1 to c1 in three weeks with 10 mins per day. looks like a scam

The AI pronounces letters that shouldn't be pronounced. What other language rules are they incorrectly teaching you to butcher. They will not refund your money. Still working with my bank to get my money back.

At the list of native languages , persian has not been listed and it is not applicable for me. It seems political issues have entered to education programs.

terrible voice recognition, put simply it doesn't work. it picks up words when literally nothing has been said. really disappointing, the search goes on for a good app....

I literally haven't even finished downloading or signing up, I cant rate it properly. the concept is interesting thats why im downloading but this notification was way too premature.

Deceptive subscription and trial practices. Even though I signed up for the free trial, and I cancelled before the trial ended, I still got charged! This is not acceptable at all. Thank you. Best, Aqeela

This App keeps hanging, I have cancelled within my trial period. I hope that there will not be charges. Both Google and Lucida, kindly take note.

It says first three days are free so I subscribed but cancelled it within a few minutes as I found a free app. but it still took money from my account!!! I want my money back.

I downloaded the program and was told that if you don't like it, you can cancel it. I canceled, but they don't want to give me my money back, even though I paid for a year. I highly recommend not subscribing.

Very poor, basically a payment scam app. Cancelled in a few minutes after a terrible speech recognition experience. No refund. Some nonsense about contacting Google. I really would not bother.

I chose to learn in my native language which is not English but the voice isn't as good as in English. there's no option to change your native language once selected at the beginning.

quitting during trial... when i repeat something perfectly, it still hears totally something else. Even my native French speakers confirmed I'm saying things correctly. I would love 2 be contacted by personalised email when feature repaired (not advert email as I won't open it generally or will go to spam).. until then, bye 👋

Lucida AI keeps glitching all the time. The service isn’t reliable at all. I cancelled my subscription, but they kept trying to lend me money anyway. I had to block them. I'm really disappointed.

I had a very bad experience with this app. I purchased the trial one and cancelled at that moment, however they charged me!!! in the application they mentioned "we received you cancellation request and we will proceed this"!!!! if you purchased the trial one, cancel it from Google pay, do not rely on the application! I hope they give my money back...

I was charged mistakenly yearly on the 3 day free trial, and after 1 month of using the app is not as good as I expected, it doesn't recognize the sound very well sometimes, and the AI doesn't explains how to say it correctly, just keep repeating try one more time, it should be added slow motion, since the Ai says the words too fast, and if we want to see how is said the word correctly we have to repeat the whole text again from the Ai, should be appearing as well just the word how to say it

cool idea, but the execution appears to be dependent of the ability of AI systems to be able to pronounce (french) words, and it was a mess on my first 3 minute lesson, with the robot tutor alternating back and forth between (for one example) pronouncing and not pronouncing the "s" in "Tu as mangé" I was trying a French lesson (a language I have studied for years) to find out if I will want to use this program when they release languages I am currently studying.
