Aside from the short range (not an app issue) it wants to reconnect everytime you leave the app and come back. Doesn't genuinely connect via bluetooth, the app triggers the connection when opened.
The app connects pretty easily, but the range for Bluetooth is practically only 2ft from the car before it can connect, and half the features in settings don't seem to do anything.
The app and led bars work. All the modes work. The installation wasnt to bad. The only bad issue is that when you pick a certain color it changes to white. Or it'll show the wrong colors.
Until last month, this app was extremely frustrating to use, constant glitches, crashes, freezes and tons of other bugs. It still has its problems, but it's becoming better with each new update
Doesn't always connect and doesn't have a landscape mode which I need for my tablet that I use it for. My tablet stays in landscape mode and this app always loads in portrait mode. Other than that no complaints. But landscape mode is a biggie
the blutooth controller keeps disconnecting and the light on it turns red. not sure if its the controller thats faulty or the app. if i disconnect tye ground and connect it back it lets me pair to it but just that one time. the next day it doesnt till i cycle power through it.
The app never works, I have to reset kit constantly to sync it back... and before you assume it's the kit, I've been through 2 controllers (due to a water issue on the first). The app needs to do better for street glow..
Well 1st everytime I would leave the car then return and try to use. I would have to unhook from positive then back to get bluetooth connection. So I just put a toggle switch on the positive line. After I exit app, I just turn off. When I open the app, just turn on toggle. No Problems now so far. Hooks up fast
I am very happy with this product I have had the key fob and this is the newer improved version. Both lights smd led interior neon this product is cool bc it lets you pick a custom color plus let's you pick up to 3 colors on a saved memory of up to 5 slots it gives you the options for different styles. When it doesn't connect I just restart the app and it connects perfectly the only problem is there is a red led on the control box that never turns off bc I don't know if it drains my battery lmk
The app is a piece of trash. It's great when it does end up working (which is once in a blue moon) but 98% you spend so much time trying to get it to work you just give up. Support is useless as well telling you to watch some 1 minute video that obviously doesn't make the product work and keep conveying your doing it wrong
