Stopped working all of a sudden won't see the device 😕 when it did work it was great *** Update so after talking to someone with the company it was a very easy 30 sec. fix unplug the backup battery and the power wait 30 seconds and the Bluetooth worked as it did thank you for the help !

I am having trouble getting my Android to get the Metered Softener to install in the app. It installed the Aeration Filter just fine. We made sure Bluetooth was on in the valve, said bE1. We unplugged from the wall socket and took the 9 volt battery out, waited and reinserted and plugged back in. I restarted the phone, made sure Bluetooth enabled on phone, permission is allowed, location turned on. Anything else I'm missing?

Had trouble with app viewing filter valve head. It didn't show on the device list. In short, I unplugged the power supply from the outlet, unplugged the 9v battery in the front tray, waited 30 seconds, plugged the 9v battery back in, and finally plugged the power cord back in. Effectively, a hard reboot. Worked like a charm.

no exit or close app menu item or button to close the app. this is why low rating. it's annoying! i have to lock my phone. unlock my phone. finally select from open apps screen to close it. as a senior app developer, this very easy to do. but some how these morons don't want to put in less than 30 minutes to fix it in an upgrade.

The app will no longer connect to our system and hasn't for a couple of weeks. The aeration filter shows up when I press the app, but when I push it to connect, it won't connect. The system does have bluetooth turned on and so does my Android phone. I have an Android 8 phone. I have tried all of the steps in the instructions, but it still won't connect. The only one I couldn't find to do is checking if permissions for Google has been given in the Legacy View app. How do I do that?

This app works great, as does my filtration system. it has made an unbelievable difference, and the app makes it very easy to keep track of.

Good information and simple setup but my back and home buttons disappear and I have to go out to my lock screen to close the app when I'm done. Galaxy s21+ with June 2025 OneUi update

needs wifi capability to monitor/control remotely if needed, Bluetooth range is fine for at home use though. system works great, would definitely recommend.

I've been running this system for a few years now and I have been completely disappointed in it's performance. It worked fine for about a year and then went down hill. Hasn't worked properly since. I had a technician come to the house and had to pay a hefty deposit before he even came just to tell me to flush my hot water tank which we've done several times before. Forget this. I'm calling culligan if I ever get my taxes back. As for the app, is has t been updated in forever.

When it scanned for devices it showed both of my units but hung up trying to connect t to either of them. I restarted the app and it only showed one device but couldn't connect. I restarted my phone and now the scan doesn't show either device. No instructions for programming either device from its front panel. This system sucks.

Working fine now. The connection page/app could use more help and suggestions; as support is providing by replying. HOWEVER, this app requires LOCATION SERVICES, which I normally keep disabled, and may not work well in a basement. This seems unnecessary given that bluetooth is a local connection by design. IMO it would make more sense to use WIFI or even a wired Ethernet option; which would be REALLY simple in a basement. It is working fine now, and I can connect from within 2 rooms away from the device within the house.

Much like the aerator itself, this app is not effective at all. Interface is about 2 decades behind, and to connect via bluetooth, you have to be within 5' of the unit. Once in the app, there are very few features. It does not log any useful info. What is suppose to function, mainly just takes up space. Very displeased with the Legacy app as well as with Chandler Systems. Look elsewhere for your water treatment needs.

Latest update fixed the Bluetooth problem. Works great now. I like the app a lot. I can keep track of the regeneration cycles and daily water usage. I was pleased that an update added data download. That's much easier than writing down the data. Two small problems: With 3 valves, the data files all have the same name & overwrite each other. I have to rename or move each file before downloading the next. When I tap "device list" it doesn't rescan, it crashes & I have to restart the app.

I wasn't expecting a lot from an app that connects to my whole house carbon filter. However, it was invaluable for the initial setup, and managing backwash settings. Now I still use the app to check flowrate through the system and the daily totalizer. The app isn't super flashy, but it doesn't need to be, and is well laid out. It works well, and the Bluetooth connection is great and I can manage the unit in my basement up two floors in my bedroom!

Works fine on iOS and Android 9. Will not find devices if running on Android 10. Have tried 2 different devices and was fine to until I upgraded to version 10. It still works on iOS so it's not the unit. This doesn't work because they think they need location enabled to find a bluetooth device. It will not connect unless you give them your physical location. There's absolutely no reason you need to know my gps location to connect to a water filtration system in my basement over bluetooth.

The app overall works, but it would be much better if you could access the app info without being connected to the units. If I walk into a store to purchase salt, I cannot check how much is currently in the tank. it seems it should download the current (most recent) data to the phone. I can't see how much water I've used or anything.

When you go to advanced settings you can't get anything to load on the page. So I click dealer info. - won't load, settings again - wont load, device list & go back in and it still won't load. Then I disconnect Bluetooth, reconnect & still won't load. Then after standing there for 15 minutes and keeping my thumb on the screen so it won't time out all of sudden I can see the resin grain capacity, override days etc. but I can't see any of the other information below. SUPER EFFECTIVE. Ridiculous.

app works fine for my needs, since it is bluetooth you do need to be pretty close to the unit to connect. If you have a water meter as part of your filter unit, it seems to round up/down to the nearest 10 gallon increment. Not sure exactly how this works, but if we are away we will see a few days of exactly 10 gallon usage per day which accounts for a tiny irrigation we have going. I know it doesn't use 10 gallons so the water metering is only an estimate.

App was working and then all of a sudden wouldnt let me connect on my android phone. I tried troubleshooting in every way I can think of. I click on the unit and it asks me for a password. Ive entered everything I can think of with no luck. Click on "Reset Password" and it just asks me to enter the password again. I called the manufacturer for help and was told they only know iPhone stuff - good luck. Nice product support on a $4k unit.

installs and will run on my Pixel 6a, but I cannot find the app icon anywhere on my phone. I have to go to the play store, search for it and open it there. Edited to add: Developer contacted me and informed me that the app on my phone isn't called by the same name as in the App Store, it is called "Water System" and using this name, I can find the app icon on my phone. Minus one star for confusion. It does work fine, however and the stats ability to control the system are great.
