Reviews for LEGO® DUPLO® Marvel

← Back to LEGO® DUPLO® Marvel

When this was on Google Play Pass it was an acceptable game. The content is very minimal and rolling out very slowly and is not that interesting. The other game, Lego Duplo World, has a lot more content and is on Play Pass. There is no reason at all to play this other than if your toddlers need to see Marvel heroes.

The free Captain America game was good and my son enjoyed it. I decided to try the paid Spidey game and, for the price, I was very disappointed. You receive less content than in the free version and my son was done playing with the game after 10 minutes. I wish I had read the reviews before buying. My advice is to enjoy the free version and stick with that, no need to buy!

so far it's keep my 3 year old grandson engaged and he seems to be liking it

If you're looking for something to keep your child thoroughly entertained, look elsewhere. This just lets you run from side to side of a scene and just touch stuff. I would catrgorize this as an "app", not a "game," there's nothing fun about it. And to charge $5 for just that is a little insane to me. Not to mention the "bait and switch" with the hulk stuff. They teased "coming soon" with the addition of a hulk scene for months, just to remove it altogether in a more recent update.

I paid for the full content, 20 dollars give or take. It gives me Captain America and Spiderman. Each game is about 5 minutes worth of stuff. There supposed to be an Iron Man and a Hulk coming out but it doesn't specify when. I feel like for the cost, there should be more for the kids to do. It's really the bare minimum. I was expecting much more. I wish I could get a refund since who knows when the other characters will come out.

After the initial issues, the new areas unlocked and my child absolutely loves the game. There isn't a lot for the price, but I'm expecting more content soon. "I paid ($27.99) to unlock everything, and there is nothing available as a result. Refund please. If it isn't ready, don't let the charges go through."

Pretty disappointing. The cost per each pack is excessive and designed to push you to subscribe which is even more excessive. Not having a single purchase to just buy everything is crazy but you'd probably charge an excessive amount of money for that too. Most excited to try this due to the quality of the other duplo game but now want to shun everything you make. This is a despicable practice taking advantage of children. It would be cheaper to just get play pass and have more to do.

3yr old grandson is obsessed! This is one app he'll sit & play for more than a few minutes. He figured it out right away. There are 3 scenes/activities & just a few moves for each one. It's easy to play using just your finger to move characters. No killing/destruction or violence, so it's good in my book.

I'm unable to transfer purchase to my child's tablet. I would like a full refund on the subscription that I paid for on this phone that will not transfer to the tablet. [Eta] review updated for rapid response, and I have gotten a refund. Pending if the issue can be resolved completely, bc the kiddo does really love this app but just wants more access.

I downloaded this for my stepson. It definitely comes in handy during long car trips. Plus, I love how they keep adding more games and puzzles. Not sure why someone complained about the price. For what you're getting, it's very affordable! Every time I get paid, I buy a $5 pack, and my stepson loves it

Nothing to do unless you're willing to pay. Very basic and clearly designed to pressure people into subscribing. If the initial app was better then more people may be willing to subscribe, doesn't seem promising from what you get free access to. Graphics look good and it's easy to use but unless you're willing to pay you get nothing.

Nowhere near enough to do. Even the puzzle mini game has only 1 puzzle. Do not buy this game. Edit: to respond to the dev, I have tried both Captain America and the Spiderman add-on. My daughter has all the Marvel Duplo sets and loves them, but the game does not have the same quality as the physical products which is dissapointing. It feels like a good tech demo, but unless more variety is added in the existing activities or new activities, this is not worth paying for.

I'll give this game two stars because my 4yo likes it but I really can't give it anymore than that. The amount of content you get for your money is so minimal that it is totally unjustifiable. It's a shame because generally Lego games are always worth the money but this really isn't. €5 for something my 4yo can completely finish in less than 20 minutes. €20 for an yearly subscription is nuts! There is a possiblity you will get a couple of characters but there is no guarantee when they will come

My kids loved the game. Unfortunately it was thrown out of playpass and if that was not enough they give you the option to pay €29.99 ANNUALLY to unlock the full game. And if that was not outrageous enough it's an in app purchase which means I have to pay that for all 3 of my kids accounts... making it an annual cost of €89,97 total! 🤯 Then to think that playpass itself is only €29.99 annually for up to 5 family members and I hope you can understand my outrage...

Complete overpriced, pay to play. I tried all the other Lego games and they were great. Heck, even the force of awakens game is better then this, and that's just disappointing. I was looking forward to playing as spiderman and my favorite superheroes, then I was throughly disappointed that you could only play as Captain America. Whose going to pay 7 dollars a month for you to play as iron man or hulk. The stupid mini games that take, like 4 seconds are fun at first, but then get boring.

Fantastic game, well designed, my kids love it. I'd give it 5/5 if the pricing wasn't so obscene. $57 (after tax) to unlock all the content-- not forever, but only for one year?! I would realistically pay $20-30, preferably for permanent access. Please let me know if there are any promotional pricing events on the horizon. I've got an autistic Marvel super fan who is incredibly keen to unlock the rest of the game, but he also needs to eat this month. Again, great game! 🙌❤️

Free to download but if you kid wants to play more than the single set of 3 second mini games, you have to pay $5 per game or $5 A MONTH for all the games... Now, understand the making and maintaining apps costs money... But own up to it... TELL people that you only get 1 game unless you pay...Don't make it look like it's free so my poor kid gets excited about super hero Legos only for me to have to tell him that I can't unlock any more games. Now I have a crying 4 year old so thanks..

the app will not even load using the Google family link and family share plan. it used to work but the second I shared the purchase to unlock everything on the game it won't even open now. every other game works but this one does not.

it was a very fun app for my kids. since the last update, the app will not play on my son's tablet. the screen looks like a strobe light when starting and doesn't go away. if this is fixed, I will update my rating. Update: Emailed by Aishu from StoryToys Support, who assured me that the situation would be taken care of. Was contacted periodically with progress updates, and finally, when the situation was resolved, I was told when to reinstall the app. Great service and response. Thank you.

keeps freezing? won't work properly past the initial opening scene.
