Reviews for Lezhin Comics - Daily Releases

The comics are absolutely amazing. But, the coin system really makes it difficult to be able to read the next episode when 1. you have to buy the coins yourself, 2. younger generations don't have the advantage of buying the coins, 3. makes it really annoying going to the struggle of getting free coins, and it just doesn't feel the same as the webtoon app as being able to read ANY comic for free and at least waiting for a week for the next episode, plus being able to support the creators.

It has amazing comics & all different kinds of genres! But what's the point of that if you can only read two episode of a comic without paying coins. Some of them update daily, but after a while it all of a sudden stops doing that & goes back to being locked. If it did the thing webtoon does (update once a week, but if you want to get it earlier you pay coins), if it did that it would honestly be a bit better than webtoon.

The coin process is a bit confusing and the only way to get a good amount of coins would be to play games or buy things online consistently. It's troublesome and tiring for the most part. I can't really enjoy the experience of reading some of my favorite comics without needing more coins. Plus, the comics that become free with time are kinda boring to say the least. Otherwise the app is pretty enjoyable.

The first episode is free, every one after that is 3 coins. Not so bad, except I need around 150 coins to unlock the full series and, checking the cost of coins, 130 of them are $30. I've spent more than $15 less on physical, newly-released books, to think I'd have to spend $35 in total on one story? It's ridiculous. Either implement a viable ad system that doesn't require you to charge extortionate amounts or expect to never gain more than a few users. Damn shame.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think I'd rather have ads shamelessly plastered all over the app than this horrible and sketchy Tapjoy thing just to get a few "free" coins. It makes me feel like my phone is going to catch a virus. Plus, the payment system seems kind of weird and bit pricey for my tastes. I know it's to pay the comic artists, but at least put up ads or something to help discount the coin prices. If i gotta pay, I want to feel like I'm not.

Saw an ad for a comic, thought it looked interesting, figured I'd check it out. I get into it and I can't read any further than the second chapter. Alright, that's cool, I'll come back tomorrow when the next one unlocks... except it doesn't. Only select comics have daily progression, everything else has to be bought with coins, which either have to be purchased with tangible funds or earned in the unreliable and frankly rather broken free coins system. All in all not a very good deal

I really like the comics that are offered. My problem is the fact that it just costs too much to read. The free coin zone also just takes too much time with little reward at the end. Also, the points should be redeemed for coins instead of just getting discounts. My feedback to you is to make comics timed like the ones on the website. You can expand the waiting period to a week. Basically, use the same system as Webtoon. This way the people who can't afford to buy the coins can read.

I love the app. It has plenty to read and event for free chapters. However, the experience has dampen since they removed Debit Cards from the payment method. I don't have a Credit Card or PayPal so the only why that I can pay for coins is through Debit Card. So, as of now, I can't buy anything anymore. I really hope you will allow Debit Card use again.

Other webtoon apps like INKR & Tapas include a comment section for each chapter and I wish Lezhin did too. It's nice to be able to interact with other readers each week. There should be a points only purchase option in the coin store. Something like "use 500 points to buy 50 coins" or something. It could be a membership only exclusive. Add ability to bookmark or mark chapters as Favorite. Add discount for chapters purchased in bulk, like 10% off. Could be a membership only exclusive

For you to get access for any of the chapters, you have to pay for coins to unlock chapters. To me, who ever made this app, they are one, money hungry and two, haven't thought about their life choices very carefully. They are going to be pissing off a lot of people, especially those who fell for this on ads. I found out about this on a YouTube ad and became interested, but didn't realize that I have to pay for chapters of a story that I wanted to read. I am very disappointed and hope that the developer(s) have some sense reading this.

It's Great, there is one problem. The first episodes are free which is great. Also the 3 coins are to, but do I really have to get 150 coins just to buy a whole series. That's not a great deal to be precise. Put it lower, this issue can bring your company down due to the rip off of a deal. Just saying, overall this is actually a nice place to read for my Fujoshi mind.

I went to read touch to unlock, as i found it to sound interesting. After o read the preview, the only way to read the rest of it is to go to the website and pay for the other 77 chapters. It usually takes about 3 chapters to get into a book, and im not ab to pay $100 to unlock the full comic. Whats the point of having an app if it just brings you to the website? Also, coins are hard to get without paying. Maybe you should do a login system where you get a certain amount of coins each day.

The specials are really good. The price may seem a lot but you can earn around 5 coins a month if you're diligent and not want to spend money. The artist spends time and money. You are supporting your artist Update: there's been many updates to the app since my initial review. I was able to purchase Korean webtoons before. Now I'm unable to. Also I lost access to all the Korean webtoons I purchased. So there's that.

A lot of offers in the "free coin" section are misleading and sometimes don't work. I find it really frustrating, because I spend time and give my personal information so they can market to me, but then don't get anything for the comics I want to read. It is also a little annoying how it gives coins specifically for certain comics but shows those coins in one section so I dont know how many I actually have. Other than that it is a great app 4/5 stars

Honestly it's very infuriating. The first episode is free but after that it's 30 coins. And to get those coins you either have to buy them for an overpriced deal or play games or do surveys for them. And even then I'd be fine with that but then when I download it or finally finish the questions, it just disappears and all that work is gone. This is ridiculous, misleading, and disappointing. Please do something about this

I really enjoy the variety of webtoons available in this app. It took me a while to figure out the layout, but the app works fairly well and is stable. I wish that there was some support within the app to switch between the English version and the Korean version of webcomics. Right now it seems that each version is considered separate from each other, so it looks like the Korean versions must be purchased separately from the English versions of the same comic. I'd like to access all languages.

Why did my previous review get deleted? Look, the comics on Lezhin are good. The platform is not very good, which makes the high prices frustrating. I'm willing to pay, but they clearly need to invest more in infrastructure, usability, customer service, advertising, etc. which is making me want to go elsewhere. This is not about not being able to read mature content in the app, I know that's not Lezhin's fault.

there are problems. I should feel GLAD to have your subscription and not feel the NEED to have it because of its distribution of coins and points. points always expire on themselves, which is bad design. I can never complete it enough to use it. also, freebies shouldn't be baited based on pay wall. lezhin always offers coins a few days apart. well you can never make 30 coins because 10 coins always expire before you can buy an ep (30) heavily pay walled. and needs improvement

I enjoy and use it for its content, but its sales and bundles are of terrible value. "Points" are useless, because you can't redeem them without also spending a ridiculous amount of money. It's roughly one dollar per chapter, and the series on average have 60+ chapters each. Even on sale, they can total 2000+ coins, which is still more than forty dollars. For that much money, I'd at least like to know how much the author is actually being paid.

It's easier to read comics in the app, but it's harder to find them. For example, half of my subscribed items do not show up in the app. Also, when I search for a comic most of the time it only shows me the introduction/free sample. If I want to read/subscribe to the whole thing, I have to go the website and buy it there first. Even then, it rarely shows up in my subscribed list, so I have to find it via my purchases or just use the webpage version instead. Super annoying.
