The app does not show the actual refrigerator temperature. It just says the temperature is higher than the set temperature. I want to see the actual number, and ideally, graphs over the standard intervals (per 5 min, per hour, day/week/month averages). The app is otherwise very useful. Just surprised at this ommission. If this really exists now, then please advise where it is. Would be 5 stars, if so.

Different products have different functionality within the app although in the same product line. However, the biggest problem is when the power failure occurs and you need to delete and readd all your LG appliances. This experience is unacceptable and not customer friendly i did contact the specialist and was told to contact during normal business hours and they are not trained in my products. with that said, it was easier to delete and to re-add the appliances again

One of the most recent updates changed the user interface when sharing video content to the TV, removing the ability to view as a list (with the actual video names); this makes it incredibly difficult to select the right one to share, because I can only see a thumbnail and video length (something I don't memorize). Please add back titles/list options again! Edit: the videos also don't consistently start at the beginning... seemingly random start times any time I choose the option now.

I couldn't get it to work whatsoever. It wouldn't recognize the profile credentials provided. It also couldn't connect to my new smart TV. No worries, the TV itself is pretty good for its other functions. I bought an LG because I had a previous one that's lasted for over 12 years! Life's Good, stick to electronics, no need for apps. To be clear, this has been my experience since the initial out of box setup.

not user friendly. can't find a remote app from lg for my phone. the remote that came with the TV is cheap , too many buttons and no back light to see which ones to use. roku has a better remote with less buttons. If I can't find the tv remote app from lg it's going back to the store and get me a Roku tv. LG please don't say sorry to hear this reply.

Very poor. Randomly turns on my LG Therma V heat pump outside of schedule. LG support can't figure out why so they deduce it must me a bug in the app. Never happens when using fixed remote controller. Schedule interface is clunky and unreliable. **Update** I've done all that..deleting, resetting etc, talked to chat many times over. They just stop replying in the end as they can't fix it and don't have access to the app development or servers. This has been going on for 6 months.

I mostly use the app to control and stream to my TV. It does neither of those very well. It's actually horrible at streaming and the controls are laggy. Also the ads in the app and the TV are getting out of hand. I will never buy a LG tv again due to the garbage app and the constant software updates and TOS changes that I'm forced to accept in order to use the products I have paid for. Privacy is a thing...stop abusing it

WORST APP EVER!!!! If I could, I would give this a negative zero(even though that doesn't exist). First, the app wouldn't even load. Now the app is up and it does not even truly work. The most cheaply created, malware-infested app will probably work better than this. Put it this way, if you lose your remote, you're just better off purchasing a universal one. App seems to only want to work on Mobile Data and not WiFi which is required to use the app. Very Retarded if you ask me.

If I could give it zero stars, I would. This app maybe worked 10% of the time. The next 20% required much fidgeting, but eventually, it would work. The rest of the 70% was the app being just straight broken. The amount of suffering this app has brought me after a long day will never be forgiven or forgotten. It would turn on my TV (sometimes), then just sit there saying my TV was still off. Either that or it just wouldn't work at all. Edit :: No basic fix has worked, the app just sucks

TV remote feature is slow. I've tried reinstalling the app, and even have the deep sleep setting turned off. It waits for you to open the app to initiate the connection to the TV, despite both devices already having established wifi connections to the same network. if I leave home/turn off wifi, as soon as my phone is back on the network, the app has to reestablish a connection to the TV and waits until I open the app to do so. the app needs a more efficient way to use the remote

It's great I can control my tv without the remote, but seriously you need create a quicker access option. if I want to just change to a different video on youtube I have to unlock screen, navigate to widget, press the widget, open app, then STILL open remote. Ok I lost my cool in the first edit. I just don't see the point of a widget when opening the app itself results in the same thing. the widget should make things more convienient, otherwise there is no point.

Both TVs initially worked when connected. After about two weeks, the TVs won't connect. I have gone through to verify that they are connected to Wi-Fi, but the issue persists. Even if I need to go through and delete my TVs and reconnect. It's a frustrating experience to have to go through that after only two weeks of use.

This app is useless except for using as a remote control for your TV if you lose the actual remote. Otherwise, why would I bother finding my phone to use for this? The app only shows energy use for washer. It will not connect or control LG soundbar. LG makes another app for that! I recently replaced all my samsung appliances with LG. The software leaves a lot to be desired, as do some of the appliances. It does have great marketing and advertising features if that's your thing!

It doesn't work. Here is the problem, the Remote that comes with the LG TV is horrendous, it's reaction time is slow, you point, click, but it doesn't click!? Then the next thing you know, you are on a channel that you have no idea how it got there, frustrating as heck! This happens every time you use this remote, if I could, I would take this TV back, and buy a really Smart TV, meaning, you use the remote, and it works, by the way, it still doesn't recognize my voice, and it's been 8 months!

AWESOME...and then not so awesome. After one week and multiple uninstalls the app continues to be a disappointment. It regularly fails to recognize it is connected to WiFi, the scroll bar on the touchpad is wonky and awkward, there is not the ability to use the "magic remote" features even though the microphone appears, and you can't turn the always on feature from the remote or the remote app. The private listening app drops audio every time. If you're into tech BEWARE!!! it will piss you off.

monitors appliances well, provides useful and usually timely information. but: 1, it's nagging to purchase premium care, which we did, but it's not showing up. there's no way to add the purchased assurion plan within the app. 2. getting duplicate notifications on the dishwasher and sometimes the microwave. 3. logs me out too frequently and without notice. it really shouldn't logout at all.

I've had this tv and app for about two years, never had much of an issue. Recently got a new phone and logged in to the app to find my device missing. so that's fine, I know how to add it back up. Click add device, tv, then it loads and gives up. I've tried uninstalling app, trying a different phone which has always had the app and worked, and same thing: device is gone. Tried it on there thinking it's just a phone issue, still loaded and gave up. Updated tv, same issue.

This app has become entirely useless. I use it for my TV because the remote it came with stopped functioning. I started using it again recently, and it was already a bit finicky, but then it would stop working in the middle of watching something. In my attempt to fix it, it can't even turn on the TV, anymore. And since there's only one button on the TV, I can hardly use it now at all. Edit: I did what the developer response said, and they ended up just telling me to buy a new physical remote.

I used to be an LG loyalist, telling everyone they should buy this brand. The new push to sync all tvs into the app and "connected" device has really slowed everything down, imo. The tvs seemingly have way more connectivity issues than ever before. Apps may or may not work when turning on the TV. Have had to factory reset two TVs in the past week. brutal. figure it out LG

App hasn't worked with my LG Smart TV properly in months. Now it just doesn't at all. Log out and back in, remove and re add device, uninstall and reinstall- it doesn't matter. It works once after the initial "fix" and then maybe once in 70 or 80 interaction attempts on a good shot, more than 150 on a bad. Never mind the shoddy alerts/updates from other devices that might come through hours after it's already been dealt with. I liked it at first, now I'm trying to find literally anything else.
