Been using the LG TV Remote Control app for a couple months now. It’s basically a way to control your LG TV straight from your phone, no more looking for that missing remote. Pretty solid app if you’re into smart home stuff.
Here’s what you can do: you can change the channel, adjust the volume, and even turn the TV on and off. And there’s also an IPTV player built-in, which is pretty cool. And you can easily add and manage your favorite channels – took me a while to figure that out but it’s really useful.
Look, if you’ve got an LG TV, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a bit clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re tired of losing your remote.

So here's my honest take on the LG TV Remote Control app. I've tried a bunch of TV remote apps and this one's pretty decent. The core functionality works well - I can control my TV just as easily as with the original remote. The IPTV integration is a nice bonus too. But the UI does feel a bit dated and unpolished. And the constant prompts to rate the app or upgrade to the premium version get old after a while. Still, for a free app it's a solid option if you own an LG TV.
