Description
Been using LibreLinkUp for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you monitor someone’s glucose levels if they’re using a FreeStyle Libre sensor and app. Pretty solid if you’re looking to help manage diabetes from afar.
Here’s what you do: You can link up with someone by having them invite you through their app. And then you can see their glucose history and get alerts if their levels go too high or low. There’s also interactive graphs which is pretty cool. And you can leave them notes and encouragement – took me a while to figure that part out but it’s useful.
Look, if you’re trying to keep an eye on a family member or friend with diabetes, you’ll probably like this app. It’s not perfect – the interface can be a little clunky at times – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you need a way to remotely monitor and support someone’s diabetes management.
Editor Opinion
So here's my honest take on LibreLinkUp. I've tested a bunch of medical apps and this one's pretty solid for what it does. The ability to remotely monitor someone's glucose levels is really handy, and the alerts and graphing features work well. But the app does have a bit of a learning curve, and the interface can feel dated at times. Overall though, it's a reliable tool if you need to help manage diabetes from afar.
