Reviews for Life360: Stay Connected & Safe

Edit: I've cancelled my subscription. It's not worth the money, maybe I'll resubcribe when they get it fixed. The first couple months it worked great! Then a couple weeks ago, I had delayed notifications up to 20 minutes after they left or arrived. Now the last couple days, won't show the bicycle icon. It comes up as a car drive. The bicycle icon has detected up to 15 mph in the past. The app also says that you are using your phone during drives, which is untrue.

It would be 5 stars except I don't want to continue the platinum plan (it's pretty expensive and there are a lot of perks we don't need or use) and would like to down grade to a lower gold plan. I have canceled, but I can't find an option to switch my plan, or resume on a lower plan. Currently I'm just waiting the 10 days until our subscription runs out. Hopefully, I'm given the option to down grade when I try to resubscribe. If not, we'll just have to get by on the free version.

decent job keeping track of people but advertising first. of course they want you to sign up for a paid membership which offers dubious value. The app isn't overwhelmed but what is especially sleazy is the way they send you notifications that are actually just advertising come ons. and no turning off the ad notification settings does not stop these from arriving. I just got some b******* about Life360 wanting to pay my mortgage and I have my ad settings turned off. sleazy marketers run everythin

Their crash detection algorithm is flawed, they know it and when you say something their canned response is sorry, unless everything all conditions are met perfectly, they cannot guarantee that their app will work. Do NOT rely on this app! This app keeps crashing on my daughter's IPhone and causes excessive battery drain on mine and my wife's galaxies. When it works it works well but unfortunately these problems outweigh the benefits.

This app is FULL of nagware, and requires full permissions to everything, all the time-- including location. Burns your battery, + you can't restrict it to just when you need to use it, you get constant nagging popups. Also, BEWARE: if you attach Tiles to the 360 app and you don't like it, YOU CANNOT DISCONNECT THEM, it is a one-way trip & you'll have to throw those tiles away. Google this if you find this unbelievable like I did. Stick with the regular Tile if you just want to find your stuff.

I absolutely love this app. perfect if you have kids and you want to track. I've had the app since 2010 and still love it. I would like to make 1 recommendation and that is a notification for when a device turns on, other that great app. never had any issues. I've read some of the complaints and would say learn to use the free version before bagging on it, maybe user error.

I'm rating a 1 for subscription & billing. I subscribe to your gold plan and want to change to the annual subscription to save a few dollars versus month to month. THEY MAKE YOU CANCEL your subscription!!! Then you have to wait until your current subscription period expires and then go back in and sign up again!! RIDICULOUS!! WHO DOES THAT?! Buuuut... if I want to up to the next level, I can do that any time, of course. Hmm.

Works as intended. ***PLEASE*** allow the ability to control individual notifications. I'm reminded every 10min that my battery saver is on. I know it's on. I put it on. I don't need to be reminded every 10min. Way too many notifications and no fine tuned control over any of it. More popups than an adult video website. Seriously devs. do better.

My overall experience of this app is that it's a waste of my money. if I'm paying $30 a month the location tracking should be accurate AF. especially since and I'm not even kidding here it gave me a notification 379 times a day that it was updating location not even that there was new information just that it was updating. does anyone know how much of a drain on the battery that is. battery saver mode can't be used at all either. it slowed my phone down so much that I lagged on videos and music

Update: don't know if my review caused someone to look into it or just coincidence but it just started working again today... hope it lasts I'll update, thanks. Used to be good I don't know what happened. I get no notifications no matter what I do except every time I unlock my phone there's a brief notification that it's updating location. Always. I'm about to get rid of it.
