Reviews for Lightroom Photo & Video Editor

Jennifer

I like that I can copy my edits for certain photos within a group, so they all look relatively uniform, depending on your lighting taking them. Cropping is not a smooth experience and auto editing works some of the time, really depends on what it picks up, and you can adjust that by hand. Really liked the free edition, so purchased for more options, yet I don't really have the time to fiddle with them, so will probably return to the free edition. All in all, one of the better photo edit apps

Outstanding app with most of pc Lightroom functionally. I upload, edit, share, and file almost all the photos that I take using only the app. Only when necessary do I go to the desktop. As a result I can get much of my post processing done while traveling. Additionally, continual updates and new features are provided. So you stay up to date with technology. I'm not as big a fan of the recent layout/menu change and would have liked the option to keep the old format, but I'll adapt.

Last update broke RAW. I have a oneplus 13, it's a great phone and has one of the best cameras on a phone I have ever used. But for some reason after the last app update, when I import raw files in the lightroom app it wants to change the aspect ratio. It stretches the image horizontally and smashes everything in the picture. I have tried changing import settings and changing the aspect ratio and cropping, but nothing works. The pictures look awful. Can't even use lr to edit now.

Dislike the new update. I'm a hobby photographer, I take a ton of photos, I like to import them from my gallery, where I have already sorted and picked out the ones I want to edit. I do not want ALL my photos on lightroom! This makes it way way less convenient to use, and I find I haven't even used the app since the update, when I used to use it almost daily.

App is good, but not worth it. Overall I'm very disappointed with Adobe. I would have liked to just purchase the program, but like everyone they want to hook you with reoccurring fee/charges. They make it hard to find the place to cancel your subscription, not in lightroom at all. Then they charge you for canceling your subscription. This is ridiculous. I would find another program that treats its clients properly and I unfortunately will avoid purchasing any products from them in the future.

My last review was deleted, how convenient. Takes up to 20 minutes per photo to load development & now, it takes just as long if not longer, to get them saved to device & even then, they don't show up in my gallery unless I save each photo to my device multiple times, just to get it saved one time - since last update. Force closes constantly, takes HOURS to edit photos because of all of this. Up to 12-hours just to quick edit up to 10 photos, this is INSANE.

The "Free" edition felt bland and unimpressive. These tools are already available for free through other apps on my phone, including many of their "premium" features. I can achieve the same results with just Google photos & Instagram. The app "PhotoRoom" offers so much more with their free edition.

I haven't been able to use this App at all today. It continues to crash within five seconds of opening. I've unistalled, force stopped, and clear cache many times. Nothing is working. I pay monthly to use this App to edit my photography pictures. I depend on this in order to get my clients their pictures in a timely manner. I'm extremely disappointed right now, but I hope to change my review if this problem gets fixed.

Since the last update all this app does is crash crash crash if you want to do a few simple things. I rely on this software. I edit mostly on a pc but when I want to use the app it should work. Now it doesn't. I've force stopped the app. I've signed out and back in. That's not the problem. Fix it soon.... I've been hearing such good things from other photographers about competing software lately.

Honestly, this one of the best photo editing apps I've ever come across. Really taught me a lot on the technical stuff, and although there are some features that are only available via monthly payments (which is only about $5 per month and I'd gladly pay), it's still a really amazing app without them. A must for if you want to edit each specific parts of a photo better and wow anyone. It can also act as a stepping stone towards the CC desktop version, which is more complicated.
