Dear Developers, I love this game! It's so interactive and as someone with ADHD it has the right amount of tasks to do without being overly time consuming or complicated. I'm always excited for more levels and new characters but I'm begging y'all to somewhat keep the format for play and learning the same! it's so much fun as is! thanks y'all!

I've been using this app for a few weeks now, so it's tough to measure the depth of learning atp. But one thing I can say with confidence is that, even in the free version, both of the gamified 'paths' are motivating to open the app every day. The farm is great for having timed farm-idle style tasks that convince you to check back in, and the adventure is both an engaging game, but also makes correct answers rewarding and incorrect answers disappointing. Try it out! What do you have to lose?

I've been playing this game for a month now (Free version), and I absolutely love it! ❤️ there's no pressure, and it's so fun. I love the farm version, the naalas are so cute! i just watch a few adds a day, and I have enough points to play. Wish we could have more naalas on the farm 🥲 and another way to get seeds.

I really enjoy this game! I already love supporting independent developers! You can really tell the heart and passion they've put into this game. Plus, while there are pains options, its not pushy or in your face, and you're not bombarded with ads (actually there are no ads at all). Everything you could want from a game like this!

The game itself is actually a lot of fun, but the energy limitations make it really frustrating. you only get 40 energy and everything costs 10 to do. you can watch ads but each ad only gives you another 40 and after 4 or 5 ads it cuts you off. I understand they need to make money and are trying to encourage people to buy it, but ads will give you money, and cutting them off like that is just annoying. I'll probably keep playing for a while, but any more frustrations and i may abandon it.

this app does a very good job of utilizing various learning techniques for foreign languages into a place fun and challenging game. the app is very self explanatory and you can adjust it to fit your language learning needs. I have been learning Spanish and this has helped me bridge some of the more confusing aspects of Grammer and wording. They could definitely make a few minor tweaks but I definitely feel like it's going in the right direction.

I have not explored the farm mode yet, but the adventure mode is a wonderful variation of Slay The Spire. My one suggestion is to add a second option for benefit of the Rest spaces on adventures. To encourage players to use more Defend cards in combat, and thus spend more time learning. I play for maximum durability, and very frequently have max HP when arriving at a Rest space.

The English teaching Spanish is good, but my wife wants to learn English. the prompts for the lessons are in Spanish, so that is good. However the battle prompts and general app instructions are in English still. Can we change that? If so, how? I have upgraded my original rating due simply to the great responsiveness of the dev team! Keep up the great customer service, I look forward to being around as the app develops!

Both of the games in this app are so much fun. Deck building adventures are really cool, and the farming sim is so well constructed. I think my favorite part, though, is that the games are complimentary to the language learning. Even when you run out of energy, you can always do the language training for free. So many language learning apps lose sight of the goal to actually learn a new language, but Lingo Legend makes learning a new language easy and enjoyable.

Way more fun than Duolingo. Two game modes of your choice. RPG card game or Farmville like. You don't have to pay. Ads are optional if you want to gain energy and continue. So they aren't annoying. But premium does have its perks and they mention they're a small dev team. There's also a one time purchase you can make instead of the monthly subscription.

Don't recommend if you're looking for a straitforward flashcard app. If looking for a game to supplement learning, then this does a good job. The learning is done through flashcards, and the game is fun enough to motivate me to do them. Free mode has energy system that is ad-supported with a cap on how many ads. It didn't cause me a problem most days when only playing farm. Used for German. One problem is that many nouns are introduced with a, so I can't differentiate between der and das words.

While I've been enjoying the app so far, the energy aspect is frustrating. It goes incredibly fast. The premium account is pretty pricey, and while you can watch ads on the basic level to gain some energy, you're limited to only 2-3 per day. I wish they would eliminate (or at least increase) the daily limit of ads available. They'd still get ad revenue, and there's still the premium items and ad free experience to incentivize the folks who can to pay to upgrade, seems like it would be a win-win.

Here's my real review: This is a great app with personal responses. When I posted the fake review, I got a message from one of the co-founders. Now I'm using the "prime" (or whatever they call it) version because I wanted to play more than the 3 free refills (very generous! and the ads were about their own app. no other annoying ads!). Now I'm hoping to save up for the lifetime prime version, because I love that option!

Very fun way to help me stay motivated in learning a new language! Easy to use, can modify settings to learn at a speed that works for you personally. I'm just using the free version but there is also a paid version with its own perks available. Edit: Down one star because you can only watch ads twice in a day to gain energy, and after that it just says no ads available. I think I should be able to watch as many as I'd like to keep learning in a day.

The language lessons feel simplistic, and the free version only allows a limited number per day. Each lesson takes energy and you only start the day with enough to do 4 lessons, which doesn't get you very far either in learning or in progressing through quests. You can watch ads for more energy but apparently even the ads are limited, so you hit a point where you just can't do anything else unless you want to upgrade to the paid version.

Update: raised from 3 to 5 stars after playing the game for a while. My concerns about monetization were resolved once i reached level 10. other positives: the interface is increfibly clean and uncluttered compared to other games, the dev team is incredibly responsive, and the game mechanics are solid. this team knows what they are doing. i purchased a lifetime subscription to access custom content and I LOVE it, very powerful and well worth the money.

This has made learning language fun and engaging. I like how there are free ads to replenish energy to keep playing. However, I have hit a point where I need more free ads for energy to keep going than what is alloted. That leaves me waiting until the next day, or paying for premium. Taking breaks is essential, but also after hitting certain point with the naalas, I wish it was capped at 4 ads every 4 hours or something like that just to keep the learning motivation going. So three stars

The free version gives you by default 40 energy which you can use for training Naalas and making your farm town bigger or going on adventure quests and becoming stronger with better equipment; if you use the free adds you get up to 160 additional energy. A "level" is only 10 energy so for me this is really good for a free version, and it explains the language grammar very well, and unlike a certain bird app... I'm learning actually relevant vocabulary and sentences and not "The Ants milk"

The free version gives you a little bit of room to learn the language with your Nalaas, but you need to pick between the farmland or the adventuring since you only get 40 energy. The free training area is really helpful, though. I've learned a lot of Korean and not just writing, but listening and speaking as I read it with the system. I totally recommend this game and doing the ads.

At first, I was skeptical. I didn't feel like I was learning. Now, I'm actually gaining a little bit of confidence. I don't know if it was recently implemented or if it just triggered after a certain point, but I absolutely love the pause screen that says wait and think about the translation, then click below to answer. It gives me time to think instead of just going on instinct. I miss a lot when I've got 2 letters juxtaposed, and it's annoying, but at least I get a pass on "a" and "á." Great!!
