Dear Developers, I love this game! It's so interactive and as someone with ADHD it has the right amount of tasks to do without being overly time consuming or complicated. I'm always excited for more levels and new characters but I'm begging y'all to somewhat keep the format for play and learning the same! it's so much fun as is! thanks y'all!
I've been using this app for a few weeks now, so it's tough to measure the depth of learning atp. But one thing I can say with confidence is that, even in the free version, both of the gamified 'paths' are motivating to open the app every day. The farm is great for having timed farm-idle style tasks that convince you to check back in, and the adventure is both an engaging game, but also makes correct answers rewarding and incorrect answers disappointing. Try it out! What do you have to lose?
I've been playing this game for a month now (Free version), and I absolutely love it! ❤️ there's no pressure, and it's so fun. I love the farm version, the naalas are so cute! i just watch a few adds a day, and I have enough points to play. Wish we could have more naalas on the farm 🥲 and another way to get seeds.
I really enjoy this game! I already love supporting independent developers! You can really tell the heart and passion they've put into this game. Plus, while there are pains options, its not pushy or in your face, and you're not bombarded with ads (actually there are no ads at all). Everything you could want from a game like this!
The game itself is actually a lot of fun, but the energy limitations make it really frustrating. you only get 40 energy and everything costs 10 to do. you can watch ads but each ad only gives you another 40 and after 4 or 5 ads it cuts you off. I understand they need to make money and are trying to encourage people to buy it, but ads will give you money, and cutting them off like that is just annoying. I'll probably keep playing for a while, but any more frustrations and i may abandon it.
this app does a very good job of utilizing various learning techniques for foreign languages into a place fun and challenging game. the app is very self explanatory and you can adjust it to fit your language learning needs. I have been learning Spanish and this has helped me bridge some of the more confusing aspects of Grammer and wording. They could definitely make a few minor tweaks but I definitely feel like it's going in the right direction.
I have not explored the farm mode yet, but the adventure mode is a wonderful variation of Slay The Spire. My one suggestion is to add a second option for benefit of the Rest spaces on adventures. To encourage players to use more Defend cards in combat, and thus spend more time learning. I play for maximum durability, and very frequently have max HP when arriving at a Rest space.
The English teaching Spanish is good, but my wife wants to learn English. the prompts for the lessons are in Spanish, so that is good. However the battle prompts and general app instructions are in English still. Can we change that? If so, how? I have upgraded my original rating due simply to the great responsiveness of the dev team! Keep up the great customer service, I look forward to being around as the app develops!
Both of the games in this app are so much fun. Deck building adventures are really cool, and the farming sim is so well constructed. I think my favorite part, though, is that the games are complimentary to the language learning. Even when you run out of energy, you can always do the language training for free. So many language learning apps lose sight of the goal to actually learn a new language, but Lingo Legend makes learning a new language easy and enjoyable.
Way more fun than Duolingo. Two game modes of your choice. RPG card game or Farmville like. You don't have to pay. Ads are optional if you want to gain energy and continue. So they aren't annoying. But premium does have its perks and they mention they're a small dev team. There's also a one time purchase you can make instead of the monthly subscription.
