Very terrible app. am not a fan of using social media on phone. I always prefer the web on my laptop. just wanted to verify myself, then I need the app to do that. It always crashes on verifying ID or when I click use this ID button. I've tried a dozen times and still nothing works. thought an update will fix, but I think they don't give a damn about it.

Lots of problems. If you use a template and customize your outreach, it just reverts any changes back to the template when you send. Only realized this after wasting time customizing dozens of outreaches. An old colleague replied, and I was embarrassed to see it had sent the standard template with no personal touch, even though I took care to craft it.

While I'm a fan of LinkedIn, one could argue that the platform was designed to be utilized on a desktop. However, I believe that the developers of the app have done an admirable job (and continue to improve the app experience) ensuring that I can, almost, do everything on the app, that I can do on the desktop version seamlessly.

LinkedIn is an excellent platform for professionals to connect, learn, and grow. It offers great tools for networking, job searching, and sharing expertise. The clean design and easy navigation make it user-friendly, and the tailored job recommendations are very helpful. However, improving messaging features and reducing irrelevant notifications could make it even better. Overall, LinkedIn is a must-have for career development and professional growth!

I've been using this app for roughly 10 minutes and it's unbelievable just how user-hostile it is, really. E.g. there's a list of professional fields one of which must be specified in the profile, but it's not on the display, so unless your field is common you just have to spend time guessing the exact phrasing assumed by Linkedin. A lot of interface features are either glitching, useless or completely unintuitive, and, of course, there's no direct support. Ridiculously frustrating.

For the past few months I haven't been able to open the app on my phone unless I happen to get a notification. When I tap the app the usual way I see the loading screen for a split second and then it crashes. I've reinstalled it a lot and it's definitely up to date. I've been relying on the browser version on my desktop computer which isn't very convenient, especially while job hunting. Additionally, why am I expected to provide ID? When I tried it rejected it anyway. This app doesn't work

Very easy to use on my Android phone always opens easily and quickly never any lag the app is intuitive it follows the formatting of the web browser you never feel like you are lost or that you can't find what you would on the web browser. The notifications are always relevant and helpful never Too many and not trying to over promote.

This app has become a big headache. My account got suspended for no clear reason, and the verification just doesn’t work. It keeps saying “request already submitted” but nothing happens. I’ve updated the app, reinstalled it, even restarted my phone, but the app crashes every time at the last step. It’s been almost 3 months and still no fix. No proper response from support either. This is really frustrating, especially when I need LinkedIn for job search. Please fix this soon.

LinkedIn is a professional network that feels like an online resume and job market in one. I use it to connect with peers, explore job postings, and share updates. The platform is great for networking and industry insights. However, the content sometimes feels like forced self-promotion. Still, for career growth and building credibility, LinkedIn is an essential tool.

I love the LinkedIn platform and am active every day. But every iteration of the app upon its release frustrates me even further than the last. It is getting increasingly buggy, requiring closing and restarting for minimal functions. If engagement is Linkedin's intention, some of the recent commenting functionality actually blocks engagement, and I can understand why frustrated users don't bother. The developers are clearly enthralled with themselves, and need to strip back to basics

the app is generally quite good. Easy to navigate, generally clean interface, lots of valuable information. So the app gets four stars. The platform itself can be a little less so, with piles of unsolicited messages about content I don't need. Even new app features, like the quality games, are bogged down with rewards exclusively for spamming connections with invites. So a good social space bogged down with corporate-driven engagement that tires you out.

The new version is completely useless for job searches with key words. It defaults to local for searches and there is no way to filter for only remote when using key word searches. This completely invalidates the LinkedIn app as a job search option for me as my local area simply doesn't have my roles and my particular field is a remote industry.

Notifications and messaging features are unusable. I would like to see notification only about direct messages, but there is no such option. Instead, app rings with spam notifications every 20 minutes. Turning notifications off through in-app settings does not work. I had to completely disable notifications through system settings, but because of that, I miss direct messages. Additionally, there are a lot of minor bugs, like messages are marked unread even after reading them

If you are writing a post and need to momentarily shift to another app to look something up, verify spelling, etc., the LinkedIn app will not let you pick-back-up where you were, nor will it save a copy of what you were writing in "drafts." I can't tell you how much time I have wasted on this terrible design flaw. You would think any half-competent startup app with a shoestring budget would make have quickly tweeked this to give users a less frustrating experience.

don't use super often and going forward will more than likely use less than before. Simply wanted to check + edit.a couple things, opened up the webpage 1,2,3,4 things I tried to do I cannot. I got hit with a page not found message and the only option to access any of the four things was to download the app. A bit aggressive and ridiculously invasive.

An app that was previously great has now turned into a glitchy mess. 1. I tried applying for a job, which required the current address I'm at. Tried to put the location in, app doesn't respond to clicks. App then crashes repeatedly and doesn't respond. 2. Searching for a job doesn't work. Search results are pretty much useless. Despite me typing the role clearly into the search bar, I get the same old results. Pretty much useless.

LinkedIn is often seen mainly as a job-hunting platform, but in reality, it’s much more valuable for learning and building professional connections. The platform offers access to industry insights, networking opportunities, and skill-building content that you won’t easily find elsewhere. However, when it comes to actually landing a job through LinkedIn, it’s not always straightforward. Many companies post jobs, arrange interviews, but often end up neglecting candidates without proper follow-up.

Been trying for months to access my account. it's asking for Id for verification, but after I do it, it mentions that is going to be reviewed. But I never get a response or email back. And can't reach out customer service, because I have to be logged in to get help. I'm not saying is a bad app, just trying to get the issue resolved.

I've had a LinkedIn account for years. I even had the premium subscription on and off during that time with only one email address. I have used it daily, multiple times per day. My account was recently hacked, and the email changed. I submitted the document provided to me by customer support and was told they were not sufficient. No reason given, and now they refuse to discuss it (per the customer rep) and won't refund my money. Horrible customer service.

The fact that you have zero customer support if a person can't log in is ridiculous. I've gone through the verification process, can't get into my account, and can't get any information on if there's a normal wait time. The forced verification is also a giant pain. You shouldn't act like it's optional when you're going to lock accounts within a day if people don't verify.
