In my experience, Lippincott Nursing Advisor is a pretty solid medical reference app for clinicians. I've tested a bunch of these types of apps, and this one stands out for being written by actual nurses. The information is reliable and up-to-date, which is crucial when you need answers quickly. The search could be more intuitive, but the ability to add your own notes makes it a useful tool to have on hand.

Been using the Lippincott Nursing Advisor app for a couple months now. It’s basically a reference guide for nurses that covers all sorts of medical info – diseases, treatments, diagnostic tests, and more. Pretty solid app if you’re a clinician who needs quick access to evidence-based info.

Here’s what you can do: search by keyword or browse by category, like symptoms or conditions. There’s also the ability to add your own notes, which is handy for keeping track of protocols at your organization. Took me a while to figure all that out, but it’s a useful feature.

Look, if you’re a nurse or other healthcare worker, you’ll probably find this app really helpful. It’s not perfect – the search could be a bit better and the UI is a little dated – but overall it does the job of getting you the right info, fast.

The app does not work with the latest Android update, it will not even load, just crashes after displaying a white screen for 30-60 seconds. Would like to use for...
