Been using LitNow for a couple months now. It’s basically a video chat app where you can match with people around the world based on your interests. Pretty solid if you’re into making new friends or just chatting with random folks.

Here’s what you do: you swipe through profiles and can video call the ones you match with. There’s also live group chats which is pretty cool. And you can join different ‘tribes’ based on your hobbies – took me a while to figure that out but it’s a nice way to find your people.

Look, if you’re into social apps and meeting new friends online, you’ll probably like this. It’s not perfect – the app can be a little glitchy sometimes – but overall it does the job. Worth checking out if you’re bored and want to talk to strangers across the globe.

So here's my honest take on LitNow. I've tried a bunch of these video chat/social discovery apps and this one's pretty solid overall. The ability to match with people worldwide based on shared interests is the big draw. In my experience, the video calls have decent quality and you can actually have real conversations, not just awkward small talk. The 'tribes' feature is a nice way to find your community. On the downside, the app can be buggy at times and the matches don't always feel that 'serendipitous'. But for a free app, it's worth giving a shot if you want to expand your social circle beyond your local area.
