Reviews for Little Lunches - Meal Planning

Have had this app for a few days. It's a resourceful app until it begins to shut down on me :( It can be annoying to click on a recipe and it closes out just before you can get it.

I disabled the newsletter subscription option and it enabled itself again. I saw the button go back to blue after I chose to deactivate it.

I just registered and configured the app, and it immediately asked for payment without even giving a chance to try or see what it offers. Don’t try to justify this with a free trial — it’s not related at all. No thanks.

keeps crashing. I can't see anything

I downloaded it first time and couldn't even finish signing up because of the glitches. After uninstalling it the technical support sent me an email apologising for the glitches and saying that the fixed it, so I downloaded it again but the glitches still there.

Just a few minutes after downloading I already experienced a couple of bugs with pages not loading and asking me to create a "sub account" with no explanation of what that means. After subscribing the app never loaded even after reinstalling. It was unstable and unfortunately wasted my time.

So far I do like it im hoping I can use it to meal plan for both my plan and the two children im baby sitting I just wished that it would have more comprehensive coverage of ingredients I do like that you can request that they can be added so hopefully that will help but I wished I could just search up the words and add in the ingredients I do like the fact the recipes say if they include a ingredient you have

little functionality for the price. Little filter options before the meal plan is made, once made can't be changed outside of editing one meal at time. Meal plans are designed to cook every single meal and there's no way to change that outside of going meal by meal every week.

I thought the initial look of the app looked cute and something I'd like, but I can't even get past logging in. I try to select my city and it won't go past that. I've tried Uninstalling it and restarting my phone and still the same. I've never had to put this much effort into an app just to get it started.

This app is so close to being perfect. I'm going to unsubscribe for now but if they ever gain these features I will be 10,000% on board. Give more options for dietary restrictions. Coconut is a pretty common allergen and with all my daughter's other allergies the only things that really come up for her contain coconut. Allergies are a spectrum. If you could avoid ingredients and not food groups. I hit my max characters but have more to say.

Thought there was a free version, but you have to pay to use it, basic or premium. Edit: I don't plan to give out my credit card info for something I don't plan to buy. I'm a stay at home mom, I can't afford monthly things that aren't necessary like this. Edit: have a free trial. It has good ideas, but lots of suggestions aren't good for my baby as it gives meals for 12+ and my baby is 11 months. So things like honey glazed chicken isn't appropriate for her.

Requests cc info before trying ANYTHING. I canceled my subscription immediately after a short review. This app is severely limited for users. it's like the developer wants to control everything, little to no customization. Also, pricing is confusing. Nice idea, but no, thank you.

If you want a baby meal planning app that syncs between you and your partner's device you only have this or the Beta NuttriShare app. (Trust me, I've spent a long time trying them all out, it's just these 2. It's 2022 yet most apps still assume it's mum handling baby alone??) This is by far the more complete of the 2. It's not perfect, it needs more ingredients and the option to enter custom/unknown, but in general it works, plus the support team respond quickly so hopefully it will get better

Most recipes use ingredients I've never heard of. But when trying to save recipes, it didn't allow. And when wanting to add recipes to meal plan it didn't save either, no matter if I picked this week or next week. I also don't like that you only get meal plans on Thursday and then you have to wait a week.

i found it expensive and not so helpfull. nice with video how-to's, but the content was nothing new to me

So far I'm really liking this. I'm actually having g trouble figuro g out what to feed my 1 year old as I must admit, I'm not the healthiest of people,so this has really given me some ideas. I do think there should be a fully free version of this (maybe some features unavailable (but available to purchase subscription) such as the shop list, etc) it's a teeny bit pricey for sub. I also think the hearts should be filled in once added to faves as that causes confusion (and accidental removal)

App doesn't work, keeps shutting off! Update: customer service is amazing. They took issue seriously. We where excited to use the app and already did al the groceries, but had technical issues when trying to get to the recepies. Little lunches reached out and helped out. This is our first week using the app and we'll come back later for and users/recipes rating update.

Few problems. I noticed that I can only save a few recipes, when I click favorites and veiw all, not all my saved recipes are there. Also, when I try to plan a meal, it will tell me the food is not in my age range? Im not ACTUALLY a toddler making these. You basically get nothing unless you pay for premium.

Let me start this with I NEVER review anything. I just don't like writing things. But I've only had this app for about 45 minutes and I'm already in love. I especially love their baby-led weaning options. A lot of the recipes even have separate, SALT FREE options for baby, as well as instructions on how to prepare the food to make it safe. My biggest problem with making meals is just knowing what to make with the ingredients and this app takes away the guesswork. Thanks Little Lunches ❤️

Only three stars... so far. I haven't been able to access the app because you are strong-armed into signing up for "Premium". There is an option to *compare plans*, but that only shows you the features of Freemium vs. Premium. I finally figured out the other info is found under *view plans* at which point it was revealed that Freemium is not free; it, too, is a monthly subscription with limited features for a lower price. Once I have calmed a bit, I may play with it and see how well it functions
