Been using Live Earth Map HD – Live Cam for a couple months now. It’s basically an app that lets you explore the entire globe through high-res satellite imagery and live webcams. Pretty solid if you’re into travel or just curious about what’s happening around the world.
Here’s what you can do – you can zoom in and out on the 3D globe, rotate it, and get a bird’s eye view of pretty much anywhere. There’s also live street view cams so you can check out city streets in real-time. And the voice navigation works surprisingly well, I’ve been using it for some road trips lately.
Look, if you’re a geography nerd or just like seeing what’s going on in different parts of the world, you’ll probably get a kick out of this app. It’s not perfect – the live cams can be a bit hit or miss and there’s ads if you don’t pay – but overall it does a solid job of bringing the entire planet to your fingertips.
