This app has gotten real bad. Every time a song starts it is so glitchy. Middle of song glitchy. Freezes up in the middle of a song. Cant skip a song 8t freezes up. Have to continue to restart app. Alot of users are having the same issues over and over again. Everyone keeps getting FORM replies to contact them via email support. JUST fix the issues that we all are having. It's not the users having issues, it's the app having issues.

Love this app! Just wish you could have several repeats just like you have several skips for the free account. EDIT: First comment was for Slacker Radio only. Initially I did not like the switch to LivexLive; however the updates have offered some improvements. Slacker Radio always had a great selection of music no matter which genre you chose, and that continues. Love the Fine Tune feature that lets you select the latest hits or the "oldies but goodies." My rating remains the same as before.

Doesn't work well on my phone anymore probably due to my older Android operating system. Often receive Network Error messages when my cellular network signal is weak or non-existent. However, the app used to recover once a signal was available. That hasn't been the case in over a year. Also, I have a Custom station set up and sometimes it freezes. The message provided is the station currently has licensing restrictions. Very unusual, and it often happens while advertisements are playing.

This app always works well. I think I use Slacker more than any other app on my phone. I have experienced some songs that skip in the exact same places regardless of if I am listening on my phone or whatever computer I am listening on. Customer service says they listened to the songs I reported and found no problems. BS! I dumped them and went to YouTube Music. Zero problems there. I am 100% happier since I made the switch. LiveXone is pretty cheap; about 20 bucks per year for ad-free.

App needs alot of work. Needs to have a player in the notification tray when playing so you don't have to open the app to see what song is playing. Terrible connections with Google cast and Google minis. App looses connection but songs keep playing. Can't skip songs when this happens. Automatically should keep info and DJs off if selected. Need way more sub genres for rock, alt, punk. A filter while listening to a station would be nice. I want to hear songs like Sublime, but not all 90s alt.

Premium version is well worth the price! UI is mostly intuitive. Very expansive library (they secured Prince's entire library!) Would like to see a repeat option and also not lose the order of songs if you go back a few songs to listen to a song you previously heard. Other than that, this is an excellent music option! Update: Thanks for bringing back landscape mode but, why can't e see the next song in portrait mode???

Edit: Still not happy with the app. It will randomly get rid of my offline downloads, not giving me the option to play offline. I've had to go re-download several times. Also, DOZENS of songs that I've had on playlists for years have suddenly become unavailable. I'm told licensing issues. No point in paying $10 per month when the songs I am used to and want to hear are unavailable. Very disappointed. This app used to be good.

Recently realized the app stays playing after I get out of the car. It integrates perfectly with Android Auto on my Sync Ford. But when I get out of the car it keeps playing, even tho the app is closed. I don't notice because my volume is always down. I have to find the app, open it, get past the add, open the station, then stop it. This has probably been happening for a while, but I never knew because I can't hear it with Vol down, and I can't see it because the app is not open on the phone

Been listening to Slacker for years. The app is really good. The ability to listen to music while doing things in other apps is great. More skips would be nice, even if we did have to sit through an ad for it. Why limit them for free users? All that makes me do is turn the app off when my skips are gone. Everyone loses then: you, me, and your advertisers.

Been using slacker for around 10 years. In the past it was a great app, ever since the livexlive change it is just horrible. App crashes, " network error" while streaming on wi-fi or data plan with full signal... I have been a subscriber for years, but this may be the end if the awful experience is not resolved. Do us a favor, stop adding all the videos and other " features" and get back to what we signed up for. You know, the simple, stable music streaming service.
