Get this, if you purchase something from them, you cant download it to the app. I can download it online, so I know they are okay with me having something I purchased, but I have to SUBSCRIBE to access something I already paid for on the app. That is GREEDY and a bad user experience! Pixel XL. Crashes all the time. Doesn't always download to playlist. Stops playing in the middle of a song. How can something with a subscription model be this bad.

Horrible Chromecast support. Starts a webcast stream at the beginning EVERY time...which sucks b/c it never actually plays through. Constant crashes, so you have start from the opener even if you are way into set 2. No playback controls at all during a cast. Just ability to cast from the beginning. Have to sit here next to my huge tv and awesome sound watching a show I paid for on my phone. Really weak app...which is so, so disappointing.

I want to love the LivePhish app but it has quite a few problems as a music player. It constantly loses track of what was previously playing, a big problem if you're listening to a jam in the car or gym and want to pick up where you left off later. It also lacks Android Auto support so when i turn on my car other music players dominate and push LivePhish away until I manually stop them and restart LivePhish. Definitely not the undistracted experience you want while driving.

Used to work for me, no longer does, lack of support. Every time I try to login I get the error "The livephish app is currently offline for maintenance. Please check back later." This happens continuously, to me it seems it's a problem with the app. Login to the website using a browser, no issues. Tried reaching out to their support team, provided all details, no response. While I'm not a livephish subscriber I have paid for several streams and would like to continue using the app.

I really love this app, can never get enough Phish! But I've noticed that the app will randomly stop playing or go into buffer requiring me to stop and restart playback...this is the same thing Nugs app does, and it's NOT the signal, I even tested with Speedtest, and every other app runs without issue. Must be an issue on nugs servers... This will likely impact my decision to pay $100+ for LivePhish+...why pay so much for a service that often doesn't work right?

Edit for more current. 2020 Things have improved a lot and become more reliable. Seems to be more solid on Android devices, including pixel and Galaxy devices. Great archive, mostly use the save offline functionality. ORIGINAL....2017 The app is pretty bad. It doesn't continue to play songs without restarting them. Offline mode doesn't work at all. On my phone it gives an error on my tablet it looks like its playing but doesn't produce any sound. This thing is useless to have.

Great music terrible app. I can't get a single show to play all the way through. Turned off battery restrictions and sleep settings. Contacted technical support and the issue keeps happening. $100 to listen to 2 minutes of uninterrupted music. Just ridiculous Edit: I have the update. It's still crashing every session. You have me over a barrel on this. Can you please update this app so that I can listen to shows that are included with the purchase of my ticket?

I love the options available through live Phish to watch and listen to so many shows! I even subscribe monthly! It is ungodly frustrating that when another Phan sends me a "shared" song from their LivePhish app, my Android can't open the link directly to my LivePhish app. The link opens to a browser, where you can click on yet another link that leaves the browser tab open while finally opening up the app to the show that the person sent. It shouldn't be that complicated.

Still a work in progress, for years!! Somewhat improved with less crashing!! However Appreciate the response, up until recently, me having Samsung phone made it difficult for subscription services, and it still wouldn't work on a plane while traveling (made sure to download several shows before my flight home from LA) and once again it wouldn't work without the cell/wifi service to connect to (even tho I was prepared for offline use?!?? 🤔) please explain why this keeps happening??

It's worth the dough. The only improvement it needs is letting the user access their download lists when out of cell range. ATM it completely shuts the whole thing down and you have to wait until you're in civilization before starting downloaded shows. But the sound is great, the interface is smooth, and there's a good selection. I do kind of wish it would take me back to where I was browsing when I look at a show, decided it's not for me, and then go back to the show list. Still a 4.4 out of 5.

Less issues than I've had in the past tbh but still buggier than it should be. I'm on a Pixel 5a. iPhone people have less problems from what I've heard, so it must be the Android version specifically. Some Bluetooth connected devices won't stop/start the music properly. But otherwise, it allows access to an obscene amount of Phish so it's hard to complain.

Way to expensive for what it is, Im constantly running into issues with connectivity, another problem I run into is not being able just to save a show, instead you have to save it as a playlist. All in all it's got a lot of bugs, I've unsubscribed before just because it wouldn't play anything, I tried redownloading the app multiple times but the problem consisted, I always run into issues logging back into my account. Every other music app I've used is years ahead of this app.

Overall very good app - huge collection of shows at your fingertips. I haven't experienced a lot of the issues other people seem to be having, but nonetheless this app does have a few bugs that need to be fixed. One example is when my phone loses connection in the middle of a playback, the song will not resume, forcing you to pick another song to unfreeze it. I would still highly recommend this app for any phan.

Not compatible with Google Home ecosystem. Love the music in there, great app in a lot of ways as long as you just use headphones. But just doesn't work with Chromecast and Google Homes. It just keeps restarting songs from the beginning. Over and over. Been asking customer service for help for 6 months and they just ignore me. Living in the gloom.

Overall, I'm digging this app. Obviously the catalogue of music is incredible. It can be a tiny bit clunky sometimes but the app does have a certain sleekness that I think will keep getting better. One of the more frustrating bugs is when I'm listening to something, 15 min in to a 21 min song or something, and stop for whatever reason and come back, the app will act like it was never playing anything. It messes with my flow of listening.

great concept for listening to Phish, i use it all the time, however i do agree with several of the bugs others have already mentioned. Namely, if i lose connection or even go into poor service, the song will not resume, forcing me to change songs. Also if it goes into offline mode then the app has to be force quit and restarted. The lock screen controls dont work very well either. Other than these issues, pretty satisfied.

Love the app, would like to see a couple things: stop playing music when you disconnect from Bluetooth, like other music apps; pick up where you left off without having to leave the app open; rename the Live Bait songs w/the proper date so when you add the song to a playlist you know what the date actually is, not the date of the LB release. And finally, when searching for a song, you only get a limited number rather than all the songs on LP. Should see all of them.

The app is ok. It works, rarely have trouble. But honestly the prices are a bit excessive. I have a pretty good ear. I purchased the lossless option for $20 and could not tell a discernible difference compared to the mp3 audio at $10. The live bait series, which used to be free, isn't free anymore. The music itself cannot be listened to in any media platform outside of the app. Many "Dinner and A Movie" shows cannot be purchased, audio or video. Feels like my hands are tied most of the time.

Most unstable app I have. And I pay more than Spotify to have this awful experience. I am rarely able to make it thru more than 4 songs in a row before the app paused. I will have to mash the pause/play button, or skip and come back to a song in order for it to work. LP does not have a way to contact help in the app. I think that's on purpose. When I do email them, they say the issue is outside of their app. It is clearly not because this is the only app with these troubles

Essentially the worst music streaming app I has ever used, but still use it because of the content. After disconnecting from Bluetooth, it will switch to your phone speakers. Search is terrible. Cannot resume listening to a show you started earlier. No play next. I could go on, but what's the point? The convenience factor is huge, and better quality than any taper can get.
