No idea how this app has so many good reviews. Its entirely a scam and you have to pay if you want to talk to someone for more than 5min after you first match. I signed up and within 5 min and no profile pics or description I had 10 likes, 3 messages waiting for me to pay to see them, and in 5 more min I got a match. Who then immediately responded at 3am... and after 5min I needed to pay to even consider talking to them more?

Hickey is my favorite app when it comes to looking for casual dating in my area. The interface is simple and easy to use. I didn't encounter any glitches when using the app. In terms of meeting local singles, the app makes this easy to accomplish. There were a large number of individuals looking for a local hookup, which made meeting someone pretty easy. I was able to find a local hookup within the first couple of weeks of using the app. I would highly recommend Hickey.

Wasn't going to pay but then stupidly did because I was talking to someone and the chat expired... after paying she ghosted anyway. Talked to 2 others and even made plans to meet up. Day before, conversation starts to fade, day of the conversations are miraculously no longer available. Add the fact that even though I set my location on the app half the time when I looked at my profile it said I was no where near my actual location. I could go on but I'm out of room.

Interface isn't too bad but having a complete and total inability to even finish my profile and set preferences without paying as ridiculous. Also, within 2 to 3 minutes I can already tell this app is rife with catfish. I wasn't even done filling out my profile and I had 17 notifications. Little hard to linger on a profile with zero information and nothing more than three pictures. I wasn't even done filling out the about me portion. Steer clear. At least until it matures a bit.

While i enjoyed the comversations and the photos exchanged with matches, the platform requires that you buy views to see exchanged photos. Very easy to break the bank if you arent paying attention. This capability is a separate purchase from the membership upgrade plans. Not worth the money. You'll probably have more meaningful connections on Tinder.

Awful. This app was developed to seduce lonely people into spending money. The profiles will ask you to open photos or reels that require tokens that you purchase. THEY WILL HOUND YOU. You ignore their photos, and they ask if you didn't like it, and same with the reels. You can't screenshot in it, so photo searching any profiles is impossible unless you have a way around it. Just take this as a warning and don't use this app. it's a money pit, especially if you are a people pleaser.

I have not talked to a single real person on this app. Every single match or profile that talkes to me is AI. They all have very easy tells. I payed for the premium package and you get restrictions on swipes, you are limited each week to see your matches, and you are very limited on uncovering other profiles pictures or videos. They price everything even for the premium members. You are better off not paying for a membership its the same. Its a rip off and i want my money back.

Like a lot of other low star reviews, it's very stingy with swipes, forces you to see country-wide accounts, and pay walls everything. And it seems like there are a LOT of bots, I was having girls "view my account for a long time" as soon as I created an account. I've used more realistic apps, and girls are nowhere near that desperate in real life.

Nearly every account is a bot. The app has a refreshing view and some of it is nice compared to other dating apps, but every account is a bot intended to get you to spend more money in the app. Other downside is that some if not most of the icons aren't large enough to be used with ease so you press the same icon multiple times in order to accomplish the task. Didn't mention the BOT accounts?

Complete bs trust me it's not worth it. The sheer audacity to ask for a subscription service but only allow increased like volumes as a result. Can see who likes you, but only 3 a week. Chats expire minutes after matching. Got 100 plus matches and a total of 5 text exchanges between them. Bots, a lot of them. The community sucks, and not in a good way
